Every video of the landscape looks gorgeous. Definitely want to get out for some hiking and touring.

Too lazy to go back and quote things properly but @WiscoPat the 80 is looking real good and hope you have a fun trip in the PNW.

I hate KwikTrip for my own reasons but now I can objectively say they suck donkey balls to some of this stuff down south. Bucees had one in TX with literally 100 pumps I shit you not. The station next to The Big Texan was smoking brisket on the daily, it was heaven til I used the men’s room. And Maverik…oh glorious Maverik. $7 steak burritos I am drooling. I’ve been spoiled lately LOL.

Some new silly things to entertain the masses. Stopped at Fort Smith National Historic Site this morning not expecting much. Surprise its true stories spawned two of my favorite westerns: Hang Em High, and True Grit. They have a full jail and courtroom display amongst many other interesting things. And the whole town smells like BBQ.

    IMG_8352.jpg

Long drive and short hike to Arkansas’ highest point Magazine Mountain. Views at the top are just forest but other scenic pullouts gave some impressive Ozarks scenery.

    IMG_8357.jpg
    IMG_8362.jpg

I spent too much time at both places having fun which isn’t a problem other than I didn’t get as much done as when I’m running with my hair on fire. Today is relaxation day. Dinner is Big Texan steak hors d’ourves with Swiss cheese, Dijon mustard, and fresh avocado. Cooking is overrated. Gordon Ramsey can lick my taint (I hope that sentence made everyone spit out their beverage like on TV).

    IMG_8364.jpg

First night I’ve had Old Fashioneds too. Extremely hard to come by the proper provisions on the road. Tastes like home.

    IMG_8368.jpg

Fire ban everywhere due to drought so I’m marinating by the glow of TW on my iPad, might pirate stream TNF if I get bored. That’s all form now, two more days then back home booooooo.

Hey Pat-I grew up in Wenatchee WA on the east side along the Columbia river. My brother had an old FJ that I spent too much time in pulling winch cable for that nutter. Also spent ten years living in Olympia Wa. I can offer up some ideas if needs be. Also have lots of contacts up there. Sister just sold her condo in Whistler, so sorry no BC fun anymore.

I'd love a visit anytime. This state has so much outdoors to offer. I have some good wheeling trails and camp spots.

That goes for any of you guys. Guest room is always ready.

I'd love to hear about it.

Sometimes I avoid them just because they are too busy. But, I really can't think of an honest complaint.

    Just..... Don't fall off.

How hard can it be? *Clarkson intensifies*

True.. just means you have to up your driver skill :D

I can honestly say I absolutely hate my ridge grapplers.

Whale ..... In the Ozarks they're usually pretty spectacular. And the sunsets out here are ridiculous during this time of the year. Frankly, the sunrises have been extremely picturesque lately too. The best color is going to be along the rivers due to low rainfall, there's an area down 44 just Southwest of St. Louis called eureka that has some of the most gorgeous landscape in the United States. It's not overstated Like the Rockies but it's also not up its own ass like Colonial areas. It's just so peaceful the way the hills twist around the rivers and the rivers wind through the hills and the roads actually have some sheer several hundred foot drops on them. But if you don't look closely, you won't even notice... You'll go from mist covered farm Fields to winding Creek ways to raging Rivers to suddenly at the top of a gorge all within a mile... And you'll do it over and over and over again.

Out of curiosity, how is it getting that 1 pc in and out?
The carrier bearing gives the 2pc a nice breaking point to remove it.
Seems a 1pc would be a bit more challenging.?

Well... I put it in a few years back and have not had it out since. Pull the diff end and set it down. Pull the other and hang on. Easier coming off than on but I don't think its to big of a deal. That transfer case had to be a bigger gorilla to wrestle is my guess.

Despite mine and @Shellshock 's Lamentations on the lack of rain, it is in fact raining here now. And the lightning is tremendous
