Nice I'll hit you up once I know my plans.

I see apex cones in @gnarthirty2 video, are there braking or turn-in markers at any of the turns? Maybe some reference points would be helpful for trickier ones, especially where the asphalt blends.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Checking in, looks like a lot has been going on with you guys. Hope is all well, and here is an update from me.

Things my way have been crazy as F, spending most of my time and resources helping anyone in any direction. After the initial hurricane rescue efforts, it has been over three weeks and people are without power and proper warmth. It’s a mind fuck to see someone’s Gma sleeping in a tent and a buddy heater.

Best way to describe my area is a warzone, all utilities and roads have been obliterated.

Been using the dirt bikes to get back and forth, and giving people lifts mainly.

I had to lay off the shovel work, cause I ripped my knee taking an endo while I was searching for people on the first day after the storm. So much clean up, running a chainsaw for weeks.
Shits wild, my whole life has changed both in meaning and purpose. Feels like some Borderlands game or sci-fi. The entire region of where I live in western NC has been utterly blown apart.

What has affected me most is, I have never been around such a resilient group of people in my life…most 60-75years old…still getting it. Shoveling mud, running excavators, gutting houses that are ripped in half, only so someone can live in half their home. I have been humbled in so many ways.

I am beyond blessed, as my family made it thru the storm with water surging 3’ surround the front. The only thing that kept my house from being pushed into the creek, was the fact that I live on a cliff and the water had a place to dive off of the sides and back 60’ below.

I urge you all to step back from your daily routine; make the effort to see those you care about, tell them what they mean to you.

In light of all of this horror, the that I have heard and the shit I have witnessed in the past month, will only bring a strong community closer together. The survivors are rebuilding and already telling the the stories of those who have perished over the past weeks.

So I will close this with a phrase that my buddy Bruce, who lost his life on the switch back above us from a mudslide would say every time I saw him at the local river shop in the am.
    “Life, it’s a beautiful thing”

    Ha you wish!
GPS recorder. Going to use it in conjuction with LitPro to start recording lap times since we primarily have been riding harescramble courses. Want to actually pull data to see improvement

I have no words other than..

You are a good Man for helping out. That said, Remember what you have done. learn from it. Use what you have learned down the road. Also take a step back and try to relax a little when you can.

Had to dig out my heavy, cold weather riding rear this morning. 33 degrees on the ride in to work. neighbors cars had frost on their windows.

Happy Monday. GREAT riding weekend. Lots of miles and perfect weather. A bit chilly before sunrise (40 ish) but bone dry and sunshine for days.

It's a shame it takes things like this to make us realize the hierarchy of things in our life. If we could teach young people somehow...to build a life that will allow for time spent doing the important stuff. But it just doesn't work that way.

Sorry for what you're going through. I bet people are talking about you the same way you're talking about others. giving what you have to give with no payback. good job, dude.

There are some good ones there. I followed you for the first couple of laps of each session to get some heat in the tires.

I actually haven't even looked through the rest of the pictures yet. I went straight for the last B group session for the wheelie pic.
