That was me. EF31C32F-714C-420B-91F2-28D78D583658.jpg I cut the shit out of EVERYTHING including the frame and... still rub. lol
Im currently on 315/75/16s and 8" wheels with 4.5" bs. Now these 315s are about wore out, Id like to go to the narrower tire and possibly a wheel with less bs.

I too like my turning radius and I like tires under my flares.

Not a lot of photos but I've been sneaking out and enjoying some of the easy trails nearby. Been hard to get out lately

Over the last couple years my idle has crept up to 1100-1800. Throttle body is pretty worn out and wasn't able to close all the way. there's an old trick to stick a thin washer behind the throttle spring and make up for some of the wear but I didn't want to do all that.

I stuck 2 washers from my box of random hardware here:

it dropped my idle to 700-1100 and the truck drives better, so I'm happy. probably still need to have the throttle body rebuilt but MaxBore is no more and I'm not sure of the other options.

Also, moved the ignitor to the cowl and remounted the arb twin. All 4 corners are secure with rubber isolators. Thanks again to @Kwikvette for supplying me plasma cut parts based on my mockup/dimensions :D

Where did you have it mounted before?
I've got mine in the same spot. 3 of the 4 mounting holes happened to line up with holes that were already in the fender apron

it was mounted in the same place, just needed a big redo. upon first install I hacked out a nasty bracket from unistrut and some other scrap that bolted to the upper inner fender along the hood line in an attempt to spread some of the weight out. It was meant to just be a quick fix for a trip but lasted several years  before it pulled the hardware through the upper inner fender :homer:

I also wanted to move the ignitor because I had some concerns about the heat/vibration of the compressor affecting it's longevity though I know that's debatable.

Between the more rigid mounting and rubber isolators the compressor is significantly quieter because it's not resonating through the inner fender as much

I like the idea of the isolators. Might have to look into adding that to mine. I have large fender washers on the underside of the apron to hopefully prevent pullout. haven't had any issues so far after about 4 years having it there.

It's worth considering if you ever have to take the compressor out and reinstall for some reason. I found them on Amazon in a variety of sizes, I went overkill with 1/2 rubber ones but there are plenty of options
