When my son and I went looking for the water crossing, I was having Chequamegon flashbacks.
Roads were nothing but dry and dusty...
It isn't so bad when you're not following 6 other yotas. :D

FYI, pretty sure you can avoid the sales tax since you'll be registering it in another state. You should be able to get a 3 day trip permit for $33 to get you out of state.

Thanks guys for keeping most of the rain up north!

PS - Just reached Joplin, MO. Smells of the forest and colors are looking much more proper here. Feel bad for Oklahoma and Arkansas, so much drought the leaves basically said “I quit” before colors even started. One major thing we are spoiled with in the Great Lakes, fall is glorious.

That Creeper made it much more comfortable.
    If it matters or not,(?)
I positioned the t.c. marks the same as the old one was before I took it off.
The teeth in the shaft aren't very big so I knew it was going to be a all or none getting it on...
I might be a couple teeth off to the d.s. but I rolled with it.

Close enough. Don’t matter if you don’t use 4wd anyway like @Pixeltim

He might think I'm weird now. Suggested they checkout a Burlesque show.

I always figure if I give enough suggestions, hopefully they’ll at least like one of them

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
Opening phase of the platform. The cutting/welding will come along, but first, I have to learn CAD software and 3d printing shit. As the Pythons once said: My brain hurts!

So anyways...I have this design for the part that's going to hold the wheel to the platform. A 1" bolt with a set of 'handlebars' will run through this to screw it down. Think desert race truck:
    Wheel Cone v1.jpg
The plan is to print this out on my newly acquired 3d printer (thanks @Pixeltim).

    More to come...
