The 70-300mm is a great lens for the price! Although at the 300mm range the photos become a little useless unless there is no other way you can get that close...then its better than nothing :). I've had mine for a couple years.

@derek, nice pics! I'm not sure what you were trying to convey in the first one? but the exposure and details look great on all four. Great bokeh on the last one!

nope im in Shanghai, the great wall is in Beijing. Like a 3 hour plane ride. BUT i am going to whats called Huangshan, AKA Yellow Mountain. Most famous for being in the movie Avatar
    [IMG]

AND im going to the top of the 2nd tallest building in the world, The Shanghai Financial Tower.
    (The Building on the Left)

The building on the right is a building they just broke ground on, its called the Shanghai Tower. it will be the tallest building in the world when its finished.

The photos dont do it justice. it is absolutely INSANE how massive the financial tower is. i havent even been next to it yet, (i can just see it from our hotel) and its HUGE.

Actually, it will still be the 2nd tallest building in the world, surpassed by Burj Khalifa in Dubai. :p

Still sick though, I'm insanely jealous you're in China!
