Picked up a lightly used Plano case with all new foam inside. Plucking it out to make things fit ‘custom’ was a first. I think most hitmen would approve of this. Even if in a pinch.

What shape is the Marlin 783 in?

Out of curiosity, does anyone reload here? I also inherited this stuff and need to consider finding it a new home. Would appreciate your thoughts. Thank you all for the good advise.

Dude, it's in bad shape (for a start). If I were to spend time on cleaning it up properly it would be fine, but right now it's a giveaway with whoever takes the bulk. The Mossberg is sorta called for and the ruger is top tier clean and very cool to shoot. Here is a short clip of me shooting it.

Most/all of it looks well packaged and barely used (if at all). It's been a while, but last time I checked ebay the used prices had me buying new. Selling each item will take more time, but bring more money,, everyone wants different calibers.
You could also do a net search for local reloading shops. I am not sure if it's unique, but I have a good local shop, and they will buy used items in good shape and in their original packaging,,, but of course they need to make money too.

Thanks for the advice. I don't think any of it was ever used. I hope to find someone looking to get into it locally so I can hand off completely. That'll be more rewarding to me.

I’m floored you acquired all of this for free, unless I misunderstood. That’s one hell of a pay dirt. Pretty cool.

try some gun forums and see if they have local classifieds,,, just be prepare for max skepticism being a new member and looking to sell- the gun world is full of scammers, as are most things.
I have a buddy that lost his father, and he was gracious enough to give me a bunch of reloading equipment. I kept a few items and donated to my local reloading shop in trust they would help out a newbie, but it wasn't as nice and new as your items.
Without getting put in TW jail, you could watch current events and see if the market takes a drastic change. I am not suggesting price gouging, but it might motivate buyers.

It's cool y'all are getting that stuff, but it's also sad. I look at all the stuff I've acquired and wonder were it will go when I'm gone. My son likes to shoot but doesn't reload. Maybe he starts? Many guns have sentimental value to me, but probably not to him. My daughter hunts and will certainly take some rifles, but she is a hunter and not a shooter. The worst thought is it will end up in some shop on consignment for a fraction of it's true worth.

I'm really hoping to get a grandson/daughter into shooting and reloading so I know it will be used by someone I know.

that said I haven't slowed down on acquiring more stuff. I guess it's the hoarder in me.

My brothers have shown no interest in my (very) small collection of basically-stock Glocks, not that I have discussed the subject much. One niece has family from my (ex-)sister-in-law who at least owns guns for around-the-farm ... maybe they will go to her. My simple will leaves "miscellaneous possessions" to my brother who is a lawyer so can figure out the AZ requirements to either possess or sell them.

My kids have this thing where they label all my stuff that they want with a sticky note and the date and their initials. The date is to prove that they got to it first…hahaha All my guns are spoken for. The problem is Washington State law. I will most likely have to establish a gun trust so that they can all enjoy them when I’m gone.

I'm helping my friend clear it from his father n laws house. I get whatever I want out of it, which is mostly to discover what the guy had and my choice of weapons and ammo. I found all his receipts and found out he was a bail bondsman! (So, I know I'm missing a Kimber 45 also...still in the house or truck). I already have too much...since I don't want to be "that" guy with a crap load of stuff. This is the 2nd time in a year now. Last year my dad passed and I had to take all his stuff. Kept the only gun that mattered to me...ou 20 gauge a. zoli w 2nd barrel that is top slug bottom 308.
