I doubt anyone has had this problem, but I sure could use some help. Awhile back, I was pumping gas and water was leaking from my gas tank area it seemed. I drove home and nothing seemed amiss. This happened several more times, and it starts leaking as soon as I put the nozzle in. I can't tell, but might be above the tank. This is bewildering and it is water for sure. Anyone have the slightest idea? Thanks for your help.

I bet it's gas. Most likely the filler neck hose has a hole.

Weight added to gas tank shifting something in the rear where water is for some reason? Got water trapped under your bed liner?

Water is more dense than fuel
(Fuel will be on top water on bottom)

doubtful if hole in tank(you would of noticed) and truck running w/out issues

weird u only notice when fueling thou

    positive not fuel leaking?

Thank you, that's what I have been thinking. I drive very little since I retired. I'm going to get it checked out. The other day I put some gas in my truck from a gas can with a long nozzle and sure enough, as soon as the nozzle went in, it started pouring water. It seems to be coming from above the tank.

    It's not gas. Thanks.
