No lie, had me in the 1st half...didn't realize the video had more time left

 

I tried that once, lived nicely for a while

 

I think the main issue is the T-com board from a few videos that I watched. It was available online for $18 but I ordered a "complete repair kit" that came in right at $108 after shipping, we'll see how it goes.

 

Guess that's why it's having issues after 4 years. I just don't want to drop another $800 for a TV right now

I have one of those Hisense TVs that was rebranded as a Sharp, I also got it for 150 bucks and it's been great for 4 years

Seems like it would just be a matter of wrapping/unwrapping between the cylinder and a plane?

Conceptually straightforward but I don't know CAD well enough to do know difficult that is to actually do.

 

You'd have to create a cam profile specifically for this that understands the diameter of the tubing and can stretch the dimensions appropriately. Otherwise you have to design everything stretched when you make it in cad.

 

I know how that goes. I've got a routine maintenance task to do on the Maxima. After doing the intake/EGR cleanup 4 or 5 times, I'm just dreading it. I've been working on trucks since 2019 where I don't need to bend over to get into the engine compartment. This one has been lowered that makes it almost painful to bend over to work on. I think I will jack this one up to be higher up so it doesn't kill my back.

I have many more challenging, rewarding and exciting things to do to the LC and even the Taco. Time to make hay with maintenance during cool weather with low humidity.
