Congratulations! Many of my friends wheel these. There is a big GXOR community on FB. Then I think there is a MO GXOR of large number of KCMO people in that group. A GX would fit better in the narrow Ozark trails -- especially since I gave up the retractable mirrors on the LC. Unless someone has a rock crawling SAS'd 4Runner or early Taco, they are becoming the kings of the off-road park scene because no replacement for displacement. I think they can be tuned.

I would like to buy one for my daughter to replace her 98 Maxima. It has been rear ended, totaled, repaired, refurbished and headed for 300,000 miles. It just keeps going like a zombie. I no longer have a spare parts vehicle. It becomes impossible to find this gen in the salvage yards due to age.

There seems to be a cult like following for them on the west coast. But then new younger kid market doesn't remember or seem to be into this type of vehicle.

Yeah the two three shift gets them. And then obviously if you don't get third engagement it's really hard to get fourth engagement

A ~2011 Mustang got repossessed down my street today. The tow truck drove off going like 3mph so the owner wouldn't hear him maybe.

Mustang guy had just been revving his engine on Friday afternoon in the driveway and was yelling at someone that I think lives at the house. The Mustang sat all weekend and then it got towed. Must be a rough life.

It just occured to me that I haven't seen a vehicle get repossessed on my street before. It's an older rougher neighborhood but I think most of the folks here have their shit figured as well

Made a thing for holding my switch panel in my center console. Still tweaking but almost exactly what it needs to be

@Speedytech7—The EGR tube was clogged, and the sensor was covered in carbon. I have a clean tube and assembly hanging up in the garage. This is like an every 10 year ritual to clean the EGR.

    upload_2024-10-27_21-17-13.png

One of the coil plug boots got stuck in the tube, and that's the first time it's happened to me. I may slap on some new valve cover gaskets. I can unscrew the tube with the VC removed if I can't get it out using a pick or something to reach down in there.
