:DHey, glad to help. I'm sure when it's my turn, I'll be running into hiccups of my own and coming to you and some of the others for help. I'd like to here your reaction to the finished product.

So are those Cooper's 33x12.5's or a similar size. Are they rubbing on the front at all? I'm still trying to decide if I'm going to be pushing getting the 285/70 17's.

Gotta mow the grass.... will post some final pics in a couple hours.....

I don't know the width.... yes they are 33's, but i'm not 100% sure the width.....

I'll look up the spec on them and see if i can figure that out..

they do rub slightly... very slightly, just when i turn the wheels almost all the way....

trying to decide if i want to trim the inside of my mud flaps, or just remove them.

these are 32.8 X 11.3 and now that i ripped my flaps off, no rub at all..... but just a slight slight rub before.... probably could have sanded the inside flap enough to get rid of the rub, but i like the look of the ground clearence now that i ripped the flaps off....

looking at theese same coopers.... 285/70 R17s are the exact same size as 285/75 R16s.....

the 17s are actually 11.35" inches wide, where mine are 11.3" both are 32.8"

BTW: My wheels are 16x8 with 4.5" (according to Rick :D )

Can you post some pics of what all you had to remove?

actually, it still rubs in ONE SMALL SPOT..... in the corner nearest to the motor, where the mud flap was attached...

tomorrow or wed. gonna take some metal band cutters and trim off about 1" corner of plastic to keep from rubbing...

i'll take before and after pics, the mud flaps come off with just 3 phillips screws and some snap away fasteners...

Some of the other trim jobs I've seen look like it involved a pair of pliers or a pocket knife.:boom:
