Although I have to admit, I didn't knock the 3 out today like I said I would.

Got a late night text yesterday requesting some help from a friend - he's got a show coming up real soon and needs stuff done so I welded this all up today.

    Sits at over 7' tall.

Doctor's appointment tomorrow so I should be knocking the remaining 3 out on Tuesday, but still mailing the completed sets tomorrow.

So, if you check out the right side of some of those pictures, he's got a big 5' x 10' CNC table.

We both got into CNC at the same time, and we both knock stuff out to sell (in different markets). He does mostly craft shows, home shows, and that sort of thing.

He'll make a big firepit to showcase from time to time, but he never made anything this big and since he knows I'm a much better welder, asked if I'd like to do it for him while he knocked other stuff out for his upcoming show.

Course I said hell yeah so I did that earlier today.

Got home and got 2 orders for Dodgers signs so I'll have to cut those out along with your brackets.

Yeah, tagged 2nd batch two or three different times but no reply so I'm skipping people and will work on 3rd batch.

An interesting question was asked so thought I'd share it as I like to keep everyone in the know -

"waiting to see if there were going to be any further tweaks/revisions after the most recent"

Unless there is something I need to be aware of that needs changing, no.

It's part of the reason why this thread has so many pages. I would rather people post here stating if something is right, wrong, needs changing, etc.

The only interest shown by a handful of people were the addition of the slots needed to clip in place the factory wiring for lights, etc. As you all see, I have implemented those in the latest set and will keep them in place.

If I make a mistake with an item I've made, I'd be happy to replace it at no cost as long as the provided instructions are followed. I'm not perfect and I wouldn't have gotten this far with these stiffeners if it wasn't for your guys feedback.

Got my MRI today, so I won't be doing any cutting until tomorrow for a short bit.

One customer I've made lowrider parts for asked if I could do an LA sign as well as a Dodgers sign.

Don't have it drawn up yet but I'll do them tonight.

Aaannnddd the core mod is in.

Driver side is easy. But passenger side, I have a bed box thing that I really like, so I have to work around the limitations of both.

but thankfully, I have this scrap steel I can cut to size and drill some holes.

For 2nd Gen specific issues, the only 1 thing is this bolt that is in the way. You can either unbolt it or cut it off. It was too seized for me to unbolt so cutting it is.
Rust my god, I wish Toyota replaced the structure for rear bumper when replacing the frame. Nearly got a fragment of rust in my eye.

    Jesus you work fast.

Did the slots on the L bracket line up correctly?

And did the large hole being resized make it easier to keep everything "aligned"?

Haha, I was already tinkering with the truck.

    Yes driver side was perfect.
Passenger was odd. The sheet metal was bent a minute amount. (Probably prev owner reversing into something)
So I had to fight with the “L” bracket to be aligned.
Making the bolt plate holding the “L” bracket tight to something. Could not stick my head in there to see exhaust pipe was in my way.

infact the small little hole below the big hole helped. Threw a M6x20 bolt in there to keep the thing in place.
