4 season, heat, ac, plenty of water, full kitchen, shower, toilet… we’ve talked about it for years as a long term goal of ours. So now that we got the ram this summer I think she got antsy and said it’s time to get out of the ground tent for most of our trips. So shopped around and found a 2011 that looks brand new almost.

 

Ladies and gentlemen, I have an update! I got a new Tacoma over the weekend to replace the one I unfortunately totalled two weeks ago. I paid a few thousand extra over what insurance is giving me (still working on milking more), but not a lot.

2018 TRD Off Road 4wd, 6MT!!!!, double cab short bed with 116,000 miles on it. I finally got the manual I always wanted, and I am enjoying it a ton! I immediately took it up north deer hunting less than 30 minutes after I bought it. Going through and moving all my stuff into it now, deciding what is going back on.

 

Damn if it weren't across the country I'd check your VIN to see if that was my old truck. Aside from the window fairings and cap, that's exactly what mine looked like down to the knob and I'd never seen anyone else use that one but mine.

 

I bought it from the son of the original owner, so I doubt it lol. Met his dad to, most of the miles are from trips to San Diego to visit his wife's family. Guy just got tired of driving stick in his older age and got a 3rd gen tundra a year ago, and sold the truck to his son.

Not to be vulture like, but just curious. We're your wheels damaged on your old truck during the accident? I mean there is a lot of nice 2nd gen stuff there. Perhaps....

 

Sorry, once one of the tires is fixed up, they're going back on the new truck! Pretty much everything else will be listed for sale shortly though, I am still trying to figure out what is going on the new truck or not.

Ps. Unless you've got some black trd pro wheels with 255/80r17s on them, then we might be able to do something

Yeah I deliver all over the valley and have my San Tan stops every other Tuesday and I dread it every time. A complete suburban nightmare going anywhere down there.

I once saw a kid ripping around on his dirt bike on sidewalks and thought "You know, if I wanted to do anything with my friends at his age and had a dirtbike... Id be riding it, too." Dont even know why they bother with building sidewalks.
