Recently driving around on the bush roads, abs and park brake came on. Codes being thrown. Po501 and Po502.

front R and Rear R sensors. Front R is new last year. And tricks for testing sensors or the module itself?

My first guess would be to check the wiring as you stated you were "driving around on the bush roads". It is easy to get a branch to kick up and rip a cable, esp since both are on the right side. How did you get that it is Front AND Rear on the right side?

I took a look around initially, and didn’t see any damage but I’m going to go under it again and take another look. Where is the actual sensor module located?

Not sure where you got those codes but there are no such codes on a 2nd gen, are you sure you read them correctly?

    There's P0500 but no P0501 or P0502

ABS codes would start with C0xx or C1xx
The Brake and ABS lights being on indicate you have an ABS/Brake system issue and need to read the codes from the ABS module to see where to go.

The P0500 is stored in the ECM, it only indicates a lack of Vehicle Speed Signal. It won't point you to a specific sensor, more info on the P0500 code can be found in the post below but since you have ABS issues those should be addressed first as they are likely causing the P0500.

After several coffee and reconfirming notes from a late night last night.
    Codes cleared, etc…

codes states c0210 Rear R sensor. After pulling out sensor to inspect, all looks intact, (I’ve had these suckers fully corroded and gone before). Harness seems intact.

what is the best way to test either sensor or harness? New to electrical world.

I’d just replace the part but local part shop just quoted me 400$ for a single sensor… gotta love small town Canada. So would rather test before ordering off the internet and waiting just to find out the sensor was fine.

also found threads about this being a cue to replace bearings etc.. so might have to spend a day laying in the dirt and fighting rust.
