Yeah, time is a bit of a struggle. I would enjoy it though, might be worth a vacation day or ten.

It's less Tacoma and more mod
There's a good book about it, kinda a how-to mixed with some good community knowledge about the 4L60... I'll see if I can dig it up

Yeah this one seems in good shape, doesn't leak or burn any oil, torque for days. Probably the strongest reason to fix the transmission really.

That would be much appreciated, might help me make sure it really needs a rebuild as well.

These fine cut consumables really spoiled me; the kerf is so small and the corners are nice and sharp

I pulled the regulars out as an entire cartridge so they all have the same pierce count; at 700+ pierces they still have plenty of life left. Forgot I had done over 100 in just troubleshooting.

I still need to get mine back in after doing the steering rack. We are getting snow right now so I guess the tires should wear a little less from the slick ground at least

Also, I didn't realize older GT BMX bikes were worth hundreds depending on the model and stuff

Buddy swung by asking if he can give Theo a future present; said his kid only took it out a few times and gave it up quickly and he doesn't want/need the money so he gifted it to us

I've got a buddy who's big into the older bikes, they definitely have some value in the right crowd

Safer he starts on a bike, although I do plan to get him a small dirt bike once he's big enough to ride one

    Dude, thank you for that!

    Forgot all about that movie.

Is Olivia gonna cheer for him, or is she gonna ride with him too? :D

    Hell yeah!

There's this dirt track that's pretty big just heading outside of town, so I definitely want to take advantage of that for sure.

I remember when I used to ride, all that gear helped a ton, but your body still felt all bruised up after taking a spill as if you were thrown in a dryer.

At my age now I think I'll just watch the kid fall

You are 100% rite. I haven't had a bad spill in years but I sure as hell feel all the falls I had when I was younger. I only have a YZF 250r left not a big bike but still fun on forest trails.

Those strider bikes are solid for learning.

50cc bikes are awesome, and still fun as an adult. I set up a small track for my nephew at my last house (having a half acre was nice). We had a 50cc Honda 3wheelers when I was super young

    Nice bike!

    That sounds badass!

For myself I'd either make a go kart or just pick up a cheap bike to ride with the kiddo; like you said it'd be super fun.
