    It's a shame that armor is so heavy. I really would like steel bumpers so I'm not so afraid when turning around in tight spots. At the same time I want to keep my truck light so that I can continue to drive like an amateur Baja driver and also keep my gas mileage relatively decent. Also, New poll.

    I also forgot to mention how ungodly expensive armor is lol. Finding quality armor nowadays is terrible. Between the huge lead times, the fact that the shop might just all sudden shut down with your money, and the actual cost, buying armor is no fun.

    Buy from big outfits like RCI or C4 and that way you don't have to worry about them shutting down. Plus their quality is consistently good.

    Do. Not. Drive. One.

    They are absolutely terrible. Like holy crap I could not believe how disgusted I was... They want all that money for a truck that's faster than a mustang, can corner like a Miata, can take off like the space shuttle, looks like a transformer, and just has more smiles per gallon than a dune buggy... Completely unfathomable. Stay away. And that awful. Nasty color palette. Underground... Bronze oxide... Those are super car colors, they definitely do belong on a sports race off-road truck.

    To be fair for what most people do with these trucks, even in this group RCI is more than adequate. Lord knows I've beat the hell out of mine and it's protected my truck far beyond my expectations.

    Now there are a few people in Wisconsin... Who just need straight up tank armor. Lol
