When bleeding brakes, if i use techstream to pulse ABS then i dont need someone to pump pedal, correct?

    Also, possible shenanigans...

When doing serpentine belt, idler pulley, and belt tensioner replacememt, do the mounting bolts need threadlocker or do you just take em out and put em back as is?

Also, it's only the bolt on the idler pulley that is reverse thread?

Thread locker isn't necessary, probably wouldn't hurt though. I think you're right on the bolt directions. Remember you'll also need a 6mm hex for the tensioner base

    Lol, no.
I only have the 1. Dude totaled his tundra so i got a deal on his spare rim/tire. It's a 37x13.5. I'll use it to test fit and trim once weather cools off. Then when my wallet is willing, i may get a full set of 37x12.5 AT tires. I'm kinda done with the hum of these MTs anyway.

Also, want to fix a sticky piston in a caliper first. Dust seals on all the front brake pistons need to be replaced but only 1 piston isn't moving smoothly. Still debating rebuild caliper vs replace whole thing.

Fixed my Sequoia the easy way this weekend after some concerning symptoms showed up...

    Sold it. Lol.

Couldn't find another in my price range so ended up in a Highlander. Kids not happy about downgrade in size. Tight fit for us but at least I trust it not to leave us stranded.

Same problem as Sequoias. To get 4wd, new-ish model without high mileage it gets out of my price range. Wanted to avoid turbos too.

Edit: AWD Highlander V6 hauls a$$ and feels solid on wet roads

So hot and humid but these parts have been aging in garage long enough...

Calipers, coilovers, and UCAs. Realized I should have also gotten pads and rotors once i got into it but that can wait til winter now.

The cam bolts on Tundra LCA spec 221ftlb. Barely any space to move a big torque wrench under there for leverage. I'm too old to be contorting myself at that much torque. Gonna feel this tomorrow...

Never seen so many dash lights at once and center screen scrolling about each of the different systems that had malfunction.
Don't use Chinese crap amazn LED bulbs if your truck has the newer Toyota Safety Sense stuff.
Finally figured out an LED brake light bulb got internal short which popped some fuses and all sorts of other things stopped working.
