    Good morning

I'm doing "lights off" this year, no candy to hand out to kids that don't live in my neighborhood ( because there are NO young families with wee ones in my 'hood) They come here because the 2 surrounding HMO 'hoods don't allow door to door trick or treating. They want to live in that environment, don't come to my 'hood.

I'm glad that I re-strung my line yesterday, the marks were off a bit on the stakes. I'm off to spend more $$ at the lumber yard, I should get some framing done today.

Dearfoam slippers for $25 at Rural King last night, pretty good deal.

I finally got to bust out the framing gun yesterday, it's been on my shelf for at least 5 years. When I used to work at Stanley Black and Decker, my friend ran a test lab. She would call me and ask if I wanted any tools after she was done abusing them. They were usually a random sampling of tools pulled from a warehouse, they went some basic quality control/function tests then set aside for anyone that wanted one.

My hack that I will pass on- any battery tool company that SBD owns will use the "standard" DeWalt battery geometry, the brand specific battery will have a slightly different shape where the battery nests. A few minutes with a file will "solve" that issue and allow a DeWalt battery to be used.

If you can pull up the flooring intact, I'm sure that someone could make use of it instead of it going into a landfill. If you were so far away I'd take it.

Look on Marketplace... once you translate an ad, they always say something to the effect of : "I sold my truck and don't need the tailgate anymore. PM me for a color" along with a pic of a dozen freshly stolen tailgates.

    Thanks Andy !!!!

That 6.0 earthquake off the coast of Oregon is not good news for California . There's been strong earthquakes along the San Andreas fault following 6.0 or larger earthquakes off the coast of Oregon

This youtube channel is my go to for accurate earthquake forecasts
