I’m so so sorry Kurt. He was a cutie. Saying goodbye to our four legged family is the toughest thing I’ve ever had to do. My condolences

    Afternoon all:

Sorry to hear that you lost your four legged buddy Kurt, as others also say, it's always tough when we lose our furry friends.:(

Heck of a job you did there Jim! :101010:

We went to ANOTHER place today, walking in to where i wanted to sit I had a deer blowing at me, never saw what it was though. I don't care where we go, there are very few deer, #1 we aren't seeing hardly any deer, and #2, we are seeing very little deer sign, and every year it's getting worse. :(

We had one that looked a lot like him. Great little guy for all kinds of reasons. The price we pay for loving them...

An actual internet hardwire was installed to the outside of the house yesterday. Not much of an event for most, but we've been "promised" this for 30+ years. People out here in the boonies need it, in this day and age. A realter friend says it already has increased the value. Wifey says soon, I'll be able get a job working from home. Fat chance, I have a list of excuses why not to.

Good morning folks! 29*! Freeze warning! First of the year at a month late.
Busy day yesterday, airport shuttle, pick up 50 lb sunflower seeds for my birds, two pharmacy runs, never got to my kettlebells, so that’s the #1 task this morning.
    Hopefully a range day tomorrow.

Happy Halloween Porch Pals & Sue! On a happier note this morning, I filled up the car for $2.18.9 with the Valero app. 31 cents off today only, plus the 10 cents off the app always provides. Will fill the truck in a bit.

Happy Halloween! Today is my wife’s birthday. She likes to tell me she’s my treat and I don’t dispute that. Out to breakfast this morning and then out for an early dinner. Have a great day all.

Nothing major or fancy. Just stuff to make it work better for me. Running boards, seat covers, BakFlip
October 31 !!!! Rice harvest is done, almond harvest is over, the barn is full of hay and we shipped the last truckload of calves yesterday.

We always figured that any year we got everything done before the first of November was a good year. Sometimes we just luck out.
Now for some heavy duty relaxing before winter chores start.

We go to both Costco and Sam's Club. Costco is closest, there are items there that we prefer over Sam's Club. Sometimes the food portions are too big for just 2 people and honestly, some of their food items are not that great.
Sam's Club is at least 10 miles away, the food items are more measured for 2 people and surprisingly very good. Sam's Club offers freebie food samples too periodically. No propane refill like Costco. If Sam's club were closer we
would probably go there more often.
