    That's what I'm afraid of!
I'm not looking to go crazy, I just want a bit more clearance for when I drive over curbs without scraping up my shiny new skids at the mall.

I have the solution to that problem.
It's 2024, Malls are old school. There is a service called Amazon. You order using your phone. It's get delivered to your door and then someone called a porch pirate steals it.
    No curbs.

You guys are not going to believe this.
I just saw on the news, now that Halloween is over, your pumpkin needs to be properly disposed of.
    1. Place in a "plastic bag" and put it in the garbage so it can go to a landfill.
    2. Bury it.

The reason is that if you leave your pumpkin out to rot, the gases will affect climate change.

I'm glad I didn't buy any pumpkins this year

I don’t know what’s wrong with you people, you think you just fell out of a coconut tree, you exist in the context of all in which you live and what you came before you.
Can you raise your hand if you love a yellow school bus? Many of us went to school on the yellow school bus, right? It’s part of our experience growing up, It’s part of a nostalgia, a memory of the excitement and joy of going to school to be with your favorite teacher, to be with your best friends and to learn. The school bus takes us there.
Culture is — it is a reflection of our moment in our time, right? And in present culture is the way we express how we’re feeling about the moment.
So, I think it’s very important, as you have heard from so many incredible leaders, for us at every moment in time — and certainly this one — to see the moment in time in which we exist and are present, and to be able to contextualize it, to understand where we exist in the history and in the moment as it relates not only to the past but the future.
So yeah, pumpkins are evil and are and should be garbage. Garbage is stuff for landfills because the landfill is where to put things that are garbage, like garbage. I'm sure that Shirley Manson identifies.

    Happening all over.
Kodak filed a lawsuit against Fujifilms for getting their aluminum cheapet from Japan.
"Today, October 22, the ITC voted affirmatively to impose antidumping and countervailing duties on ALP imports from Japan and China. We are disappointed with the ITC’s decision, and we firmly believe that Fujifilm is a responsible market provider of ALPs."

Cost of Aluminum printing plates will be going up, too

Oh there will be some mods all right
I know I am in the minority, but I refuse to pay so much money for any shocks that need to be rebuilt so often. People say they need to be rebuilt because of how high performance they are and while that may be true, I would rather have a little less performance and a lot more longevity. I have seen anything from 15000 to 40,000 mile intervals. I put on 20000 to 25,000 miles a year, roughly half of which is off-road and I don't like slowing down if I don't have to. So that's the potential for a rebuild a year. Another way I'm in the minority is I'm pretty sure every other person in this entire thread has another vehicle they could drive should their truck need to sit waiting on a rebuild for shocks. I do not have that luxury so I would have to toss in some random suspension to fill the time in between waiting for a rebuild. For me the choice is clear, stuff like 6112s and MT64s and iron Man FCPs is the way to go.

Interesting... I emailed Dobinson and got a response right away.

    Hey Tim,

Coils are made in Australia, leaf springs are made in India and everything else in China. However, just because we use China labor to produce our products doesn't mean it's inferior because all they do is the assembly. We import our oil from Fuchs (germany) and seals from NOK (Japan). The shocks are our proprietary designs and engineering which is the important part of a product, this is why you see our shock bodies for the Tacoma are 2.2" and 50mm diameter pistons. Shocks made in China by other brands aren't available in that size because it's not just a rebranded product, it's entirely our engineering, just their labor. Hope that helps, let me know if you have any other questions.

    Thanks,
    David

Do Dobinson IMS have a history of needing to be rebuilt?
