I assume Jase Medical is an overseas pharmacy?
I have used another overseas pharmacy for my prescriptions, not just antibiotics. I have 3 months backed up. Should go up to a year.
Will compare prices I pay vs. Jace.

So Jase came out $63 cheaper for a year of my regular (non-antibiotic) meds vs. a pharmacy I use.

Different story when I went to compare antibiotics.
Jase personalized emergency kit was $269.95 for 212 pills.

I picked the same meds in my pharmacy. Right off the bat: Jase Zpack (Azithromycin) 250mg comes in 6 pill pack. A smallest pack I can buy at mu old pharmacy is 30 pills (5 courses of treatment).
At the end my total at Old pharmacy was $140 for 250 pills, including shipping.
And I know who made the pills vs unknown manufacturer at Jase.

PS shelf-stable Ivermectin (not compounded, was $15.75 per 12mg dose (have to calculated using pricing for 3mg pills) or $472.50 for 30 doses of 12mg at Jase). Old pharmacy is $57.50 for the same 30 pills or $100 for 100 pills, ie $1.92 to $1 for 12 mg, depending on quantity.

My conclusion is that Jase medical is not worth it. If you want to buy a limited use pre-made kit, sure, but you can assemble a much cheaper, more useful case yourself.

I have a similar story. A friend was running around a pool (No running!) and one foot slipped in and the other stayed out... and one nut got crushed. He ended up doing a stint as an exotic dancer when he grew up and I always wondered if it was due to his lack. Maybe compensating?

It’s still here I just haven’t been as active on TW for a while. Temporary diversions talking about other things is ok and the discussion came back to preparedness talking about Jase medical lol.
I have some Mylar food storage to do I need to get back on that

Everybody on You Tube and other places keep trying to hype up the threat of election civil unrest.
I just can’t see that threat in rural America maybe I’m crazy but I don’t see it tolerated. just my thoughts

I feel like they contribute to the problem, and are trying to make a buck from it. I’m not saying that we don’t need to pay attention and listen to other’s thoughts and opinions. We just need to use our brains and cut through the BS. I feel like a lot of the preparer video people are not much better than the news reporters. They prey on people’s fears, and drive emotions high causing conflict. That being said, we all should have emergency kits that contain food, water, medicine, first aid and anything that gives you the peace of mind. The more self sufficient we are the better to handle whatever comes up.

I can see things get jumpy in larger cities, ala in 2020 Seattle/Portland/Minneapolis/Wakesha.
I do not see wide spread civil disobedience until Feds and States go bankrupt (5-15 years).

I'd like to think the same. I don't really foresee mass rioting taking place if the election goes one way over the other, but I fully expect any instances from those who choose to act out to be publicized as such. I think that is the real danger. Media really feeds into local issues and makes them national/global issues. Regardless of the election outcome, I would expect the same larger cities that went crazy during the "summer of love" to pick back up at some level. I'm hopeful it will be handled differently this time (if it happens). Because of the possibility of people acting out after November, I'd just avoid inner cities as best I could. All we can do is contribute individually and set good examples for the next generations to come.

Agreed. And I think it is dangerous.

    Will it happen? Sure. Somewhere.
Some place like a crime riddled inner city down town neighborhood, or where ever, that most people here have the sense not to live in and would happily drive around, will see some sort of ugly flare up. But then again, there are REGULAR flare ups like that in America. People try to vandalize their way out of "oppression." It has happened every month of every year for probably the last 20 years - so common it rarely makes it any further than the local news where it happened. Correlation is not Causation.

Am I doing anything different at my homestead as a result? Nope. ROE remains the same. SOP remains the same. All of the OSINT, SIGINT/ELINT feelers stay out receiving data for processing. I'm not changing anything and regardless of who the president is when they finally tally up the hotly contested areas, I will not lose an ounce of sleep. They have far less impact on your life than you think they do. We are all probably at a bigger risk of a weather related event than you are some sort of social riot event. Wildfire and Flooding are my big ones. Not the Hoodie-Mafia or what ever boogie man these people have invented.

A couple of times we have had threats (probably hype and speculation and nothing credible) that the local Antifa Office was going to "Bring it to the Burbs" and they allegedly threatened the Veterans Memorial in our town. The outpouring of LEO and Civilian Volunteers was nothing short of impressive. And they worked together pretty well. No one showed up and it all blew over. And no - I didn't participate. Monuments are repairable and replaceable. No need in making it on another list and potentially ruining your future because some bone head with a keyboard whipped up the locals.

I say follow the money... Are these "influencers" on YouTube and Instagram that say these things monetized? Does them saying controversial things garner comments and likes? Do those interactions drive up viewership through the algorithm and make them money? Did we just discover that they profit off of fear mongering? Yeah. Let it go. It's all fear-theater designed to line their pocketbooks with cash.

I live in a hot spot for extreme thinking... Not as hot as northern Idaho, maybe, but full of people parroting groupthink. Funny how all these extreme thinkers are emotional thinkers, and claim to be critical thinkers but are anything but...

Like you say, people choose their information sources and go with that single point of view.

Trust me, I get it. What I've learned is they think the same about you. Everyone has an opinion, some right, some wrong, and you'll always get lumped into a "side" for sharing certain beliefs/opinions. Just goes to show the importance of talking to people like they're people. People with opinions can be swayed and educated, just as you can. People don't choose either side of extreme for no reason. Its not always fueled by hate, people are just passionate creatures. Seek to understand and do your part for the side you're passionate about, and the world will continue to spin. Differing opinions are what makes the world go round.

Just to put it out there... to remain rational in a world of extremes, we aren't obligated to take sides or generate conclusions or even have an opinion. The definition of being a critical thinker is cultivating an open mind and finding the value in all points of view.

I agree. And to that point, those who find themselves finding value in all points of view aren't the ones taking sides. They're the ones being lumped into a side by others and being call extremists for simply finding value in an opposing view. I could be wrong, but I think there's more people who fall into this category than not, on both sides of the aisle. I think it goes to show why we need to normalize talking to people like people on an individual basis instead of lumping everyone together.

I think we've taken a little detour in the thread though. As for expecting some civil unrest in the coming weeks, I don't think people are able to effectively have productive conversations with those who oppose their views. It seems this new age of "protest" has to have some level of negative disruption to gain attraction, so I wouldn't be surprised for some stuff to pop off here and there, but I also won't lose sleep in expectation of it. I don't expect a civil war in any case if thats what was being asked.

Amen Brother... I get it from both sides because I refuse to accept any single sided point of view without understanding the value in the opposite side. "Oh, so you aren't a real (name an ideology).", because I have uncomfortable questions.
