Hey peeps. I recently rotated my tires and have been rolling around with the tpms idiot light on. I have this tool on order. Are there any members here that has used this specific scanner to reset the air pressure read outs?
The ad said it does but the user manual I looked at online didn’t show that it did. The model is
    Ancel td700.

I have a TD700. Looks like it will read TPMS fault codes, erase fault codes and check the TPMS datastream.

Make sure your TD700 comes with Toyota software preloaded.

I just ordered the unit specific for Toyota. But I have no idea if it was preloaded or not.

I could live with the ability to disable the light all together.
    And thanks for the reply

I have the same Ancel TD700 reader for Toyota. I can see the tpms codes, erase and see live data but does anyone know if we can clone or reprogram replacement sensors with it. I have 2 gone bad and got these estimates for 4 replacements and programming...
local Toyota dealer $1K for 4
    Goodyear, $480
    Local tire shop $420.
It's like $60 on Amazon for 4 but stuck on the programming part.
Any other reasonable reader able to do it or than techstream?

I don’t believe the TD700 can reprogram. This Xtool TP150 should, but I do not own one.

discount tire charges $60 per tire. That’s for the new sensor and installed. I just got one replaced there.

Interesting. No charge when you buy a new set of tires.

I have the TD700 and am pretty sure it does not reset the TPMS light. I use the TD700 to read ATF temps and to release the EPB calipers on my Lexus and Toyota sedans when servicing the rear brakes.

Thx, I was looking at this xtool and the smart sensor ts0144. Both look interesting but I have think you have to use their branded sensors which I am suspicious of but likely same as what most shops probably use now.

That would be a dumb move on their part imho. Unless of course they had no choice and had to use other sensors due to copyright infringement. Like inflation caps. They are all threaded to a standard size.

But anyhoot the wife has the truck today. I have a date with town fair tire. ( our discount tire) bringing the Hyundai sante fe there. Vibration at 65.

I didn't see the name of the sensor they use but the box it comes in was white. Will ask tomorrow if anyone has interest.

I bought the tires from Walmart for my wife's ES350 and had the local DT installed them. It comes with lifetime rotation and balance.

One of the sensors died. I bought a sensor from Amazon, they swapped it out and reprogrammed it while I took it there to rotate, no charge.
