I don't understand why people celebrate in this way.

I grew up in El Sereno & have sisters who live in Alhambra.

This restaurant in Boyle Heights, LA is a favorite.

As a kid, we would go after attending church on Sunday.

As an adult, I'd eat here before going to Dodger's game.

Sorry to say I’m not going to make it to the MLO open house/expo today.

 

Hey Eric,

I'm not making it either.

But I did prepare "huevos rancheros" for my wife and me.

Oiled two pans...cooked the corn tortillas to light perfection in one and two eggs over-easy in the other.

Warmed up the salsa we have for chips and added light amount of water and viola!

I have to thank my mother for teaching me how to cook for myself when I was young.

 

Growing up in SoCal we had a little taco shop a few blocks away. Two taquitos and a soda for like $1.50. Let’s just say I pretty much ate there every a day during the summer break.

Yeah, there was always some place to eat that wasn't expensive.

Welp, one of my coworkers (the younger one but older than me) is out for the next two days.

He said he had errands and medical stuff to take care of...I think he's a little stressed out for the day's "Main Event."

I took care of business early so I'm not scrambling to get anywhere today--unlike me, because I'm usually a procrastinator. lol!

So, I'm left here with my challenge for the next two days.

I need to stop being "nit-picky" but actions cause me to evaluate, "why are you doing that/saying that?"

Here's something to think about...my Uncle Artie first mentioned this to me when I was a young "whipper-snapper." lol
