    Good morning everybody! Getting in just under the wire. We’ve been wrestling ferals this morning we had 6 dogs that needed shots and 3 of them I can’t touch. Two will take food from me 1 not even that. We had to borrow the van. When I get home I’m going to pull inside the fence and just start opening crates.

    Good afternoon. It was a nice day, a bit cooler than the past few days. I got lots of work done, the framing is finished for the small deck. I can start planking on Monday.

    What store is that? I'm just curious.. the décor looks familiar but I can't place it.

    Damn Weesa, you have some talent!

    Would you consider doing any outside work? I have an old LL Bean barn coat, the inner flannel is worn/torn away. I can't find anyplace around me that wants to repair it. I'd love to find someone that would repair it for a reasonable fee.

    thanks boys. first thing i sewed on my new machine. just happy to have gotten through it all without breaking anything or getting any warning bells going on. :laugh: going to my first class tomorrow at the shop where i bought it and i didn't want to go completely blind.

    I've tried making a few clothing items and I suck at it. I stick to flat things only.
    I know a lot of the shops around here have a list of ladies that offer up their services for things like mending. I bet if you went to any quilt shop or sewing machine shop - NOT the box/chain stores - and asked, they'd be able to give you contact info for someone local that could help.
