Deer hunting BS thread

Wouldn’t give it much thought. Some of the best hunting I’ve had was just outside the Military range back home. Day ‘n Night live firing & Antelope spook mighty easy. Deer are about the same.

 

They came in after dark but nothing during shooting hours. Rut is starting and rifle starts next weekend.

 

Good Luck but most of all have a great hunt.

 

7.5 hours on stand today . ZERO deer
Almost all the corn has been cut this past week ( around 300 acres) so I guess the deer are hanging close to the edge of it . The one corn field I can hunt near or in is still standing .
Oh yea - on top of that directly behind the 130 acres I have permission to hunt are 2 new subdivisions . Land has been cleared on both around 160 acres and 4 houses already going up .$$$$ big bucks $$$$$ wrong bucks for hunting season.

 

Nothing much here either

 

Not even going tomorrow. 2 days in a row ,no deer . My eyes are really bothering me

 

I take a break on Sundays and thats when they show up during shooting hours.

Hey All. got all of November off to hunt. but this will be 1st yr. i may not hunt. we will see. have a health issue come up. ive got Sugery Tuesday then will know what lays ahead.not afraid, i have a strong faith. Ive got bladder cancer.he says drink a ton of water till surgery so i pee alot. geeez,we all know a 6pak of beer makes a gallon of pee. LMAO
on a lighter note,my youngest doesnt get to go much with work and his kids. we put a stand up for him low on the mountain close to the road. 1st day muzzle was yesterday. he saw a spike n bear on morning set and get this. 6 does and 5 bucks in the evening all with in 60yds. huge 4pt,3 small 8pts. and a scrub. he had a blast.Good Luck All

will do Murph. i always look forward to your little vidieo replys oh im not out. i dont hunt at the house but this year i am. muzzleloader is in the recliner. i can shoot but not drag or dress one. got 6 youngins minutes away that said they will come take care of it. 2 hunt close by. said even if im in stand ill climb down and be there in 10 minutes. thats Good People right there

Blanked on two sits yesterday. Temps a bit high here. Skeeters yesterday eve. Off all next week hunting but may bass fish one day depending on temps and wind.

Will be praying for you, peace, comfort and healing. Had a good friend deal with this a few years ago and he recovered and is living well. Hang in there friend, better days ahead.
