Thanks @JGO, wow, interesting times for you to be sure; are your current PSA numbers relatively low or have the spiked recently? If you want any more details on the things I've learned, my treatments, and the options I was given, please ping me either here or in a direct message.

Well my Betty is working the polls today so I'm on dinner duty, lol. Got a nice beef brisket flat that I'm gonna slow cook in the crock pot. I don't have a smoker so this is the next best thing imo. Plus i have other things to do today.
Beef stock, worscestersire sauce and minced garlic in the crock. Caramelized some onions in bacon grease.
    20241102_100320.jpg
Rubbed the brisket with seasonings and seared the brisket in bacon grease. Thats a 14" pan, lol.
    20241102_100309.jpg
It barely fit in the crock! Itll shrink as it cooks.
    20241102_101047.jpg
Low and slow, see ya in about 8 hours.

:pccoffee: Happy Saturday Porch Pals & Sue! Well, the shot was good after the soreness went away. I can meander around with very little pain. So, trying to do stuff today; son is coming over for some putz on his Prius today. Longhorns are off, so no Hook 'Em!

Tell Betty thanks for doing that Public Service, especially in these times. My mom was a poll worker in the sixties, a lot less drama.:oldglory:

The sear looks nice. Bet it tasted great! Today I am smoking a chicken, then pulling have of it to make a tater tot casserole for dinner tonight. Put the chicken in a brine last night.

Good morning. Off to the gym in a few then I have a few cabinets to clean out in the kitchen.

Oh yummy looking! My cooking skills stop at PB&Js toasted!

Quiet day on the front range. Partly cloudy with a slight chance of afternoon showers. Looks like a good man cave day!

Wishing everyone a lovely quiet day of rest!

I don't know if I have mentioned it here before but I make crosses and necklaces for our church. It's my way of serving.
Heres a batch of necklaces i just made.

Putting the cords on and packaging them up.

I thought the cardboard box looked kinda tacky so i pulled one of my early bowls out of retirement to use as a display.
Box elder, nice and thick so if it's dropped it might not break, lol.
    20241103_080432.jpg
This looks nicer than a cardboard box.
    20241103_080455.jpg
My Betty chose a box elder cross for herself.
    20241103_083552.jpg
I give these away. I've Kevin over a hundred of the large crosses away and probably the same for the necklaces, it's a calling.
    These are the large crosses.

:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! Well, it rained just enough so that my son couldn't help me with the yard, but that's OK - I think I'm capable now after that shot! Just work slowly. We steam cleaned his timing cover (the famous Toyota ooze) that causes the service people to say "give me $4,000". Air filter, LED in the back plate lights, and replaced some failed two side tape on his window deflector. Then, we straightened out the greenhouse cover, which of course blew off overnight!

Not crap for the predicted rains, and now they are explaining how the percentage thing works! And that front that never comes, still hasn't. Another heat record likely today. Now, it's Monday night to cool down, but it will still go back above average by Friday. Oh well. Go Lions!

Those crosses are beautiful masterpieces. You are truly talented Greg and your Betty is a lucky girl.

    Afternoon all:

The crosses are neat, and that bowl is really nice Greg!

Was downtown watching helicopters flying around trying to put out a forest fire on the opposite side of the mountain. Not really much of a concern as long as if it stays high on the mountain and doesn't burn down to the base of it where there are houses, or 5 miles East where there is a house and a ski area on top.

You are your best own advocate, don't take any shit, kick ass and take names!
I've got an ongoing foot, ankle, calf injury that has gone on for close to 6 months. I am only getting results and referrals to others in my Medical Plan once I started being a pest!
I almost wonder sometimes if the system is writing me off somewhat because I am age 71???!!!
