I finally did my install and I had finally settled on the MRP-F300(had bought the KTP-445 but returned it). Here is what I have:

    HU - Alpine CDA-105
    Amp - Alpine MRP-F300
Front Speakers - Alpine SPR-17S components
Rear Speakers - Alpine SPR-17C coax (running off HU power only)

Also installed Alpine Bluetooth unit and Metra Axxess SWI(can't get it working but will keep trying).

Anyhow my thinking on the amp was this. Originally I was going to bridge it to send 150w RMS to the front components(rated at 110), the I considered using all 4 channels and hook up the rear doors. But then I figured I don't need the rear doors for anything other than fill so I left them on HU power. Figured I would try the fronts at the 60 or so RMS the amp puts out and go from there. well, I am happy with hwo much power is going to them. So that leaves me with the possibility of bridging the other two channels for a 150w RMS sub.

So now I am looking for recommendations on exactly what I should get/build. I could build my own enclosure, just need some guidance on what size, etc.

    Thansk for any help.

Thanks Matt! I appreciate all your help(from other threads I had). The JBL looks like a good deal. When you say increase the box size are you saying go bigger than the .3 cu ft they recommend?

Yes, exactly. Using a bigger box will change the response curve of the woofer, and help it use power more efficiently. It will give an increase in lower end performance. In all honesty, with a single woofer, it will not be huge (about 1-1.5db increase @ 30hz), but a .4 or .5 would be fine, if you wanted to use a pre-fab box.

Ideal would probably be an older JBL GTO 10, but they are close to impossible to find (for me...)
