It used to look soooooo good. Years of abuse haven't been kind to it. It really was minty when I bought it 14 years ago. It looks rough now.

Needs new tires, but I need an alignment first. But before I get the alignment I want to redo the suspension. It's a cruel compounding issue with big $$$

There's some brand called rocky Mountain I'll give a shot. Made in Grand Junction CO, and the price difference between them and Mickey Thompson is $840... Should be OTD for $650ish. Usually I'm pretty hard lined on tires but since my truck is really just a daily driver, I feel ok saving some coin to try them out. I'm hoping this month I'll pull the trigger on some 600# coils from ADS or Foxes (Accutune) just so the truck can ride like a cloud in town LOL

For a comparable experience I'd be in a mid-level cabin suite on the Orient Express from London to Verona. That would be one for the books.
I'm a slow, ground guy though. I know lotsa folks in here are aircraft fans.

I'm about to finally pull the ARB and your shot made me realize I can't remember exactly what I need to reinstall a stock setup haha. Gonna be fun.

There's a front support, then the bumper itself.

I remember the bumper being held by 6 bolts (3 per side). And however many that front support bar uses...4 I think?

It's like a 5 minute job pulling/installing the stock front bumper.

Although I remember really fumbling trying to line up the bolts to those square nuts on the ARB bumper.

Easy install, just tedious if you don't have small enough hands.

I remember having to pull the ARB off once or twice because a capture nut fell off or some stupid shit.

Yeah I kept the support, I'm just picturing the bolts, I remember the sides but I'm blanking on the front. And as an aside, which is just me being lazy, but my laziness is slightly annoyed that you can't order a bumper ready to bolt up...most come in the three pieces as trim, bumper and valence. Shit that reminds me I need new fogs too.

We are going into our third year of collecting for TFT. With their presence it could become something like this at Rigs and Coffee.

    Not masculine enough for you?
Well, the uppers were an issue and it ran on the bumps. Other than that it's straight forward.

I'm gonna be a nice guy and take a ton of photo of how the ARB is bolted now for whatever poor soul buys it from me. Might help with ARBs sad instructions.

Perry's have become a favorite with the rock crawling 100s crowd. They handle the weight and the abuse.
