Thanked my non-stock rims for giving the truck a wider stance and making the tires sit out farther. They saved me from serious vehicular damage last night on the way home when trying to avoid an accident and the guy still came over on me and hit the left rear tire instead of the body (aside from a minor, long scratch on the rear fender...but no big deal on that since there are many others caused by trees in the forest). His car, not so good with the rubber having left a lot of itself smeared on his right front fender and wheel. That's the second time in 3 months someone has missed hitting the fender and hit the rear tire instead. And in case you're wondering, the tire was just fine aside from some scrapes.[IMG]

I really like the way you left that little bit of silver ring on there. It made a big difference in the overall look to me.

Just put the BFG A/T's on last week. Squirmy as hell the first couple days, now awesome. Still trying to figure out what pressure to run them at (rated for 65PSI).

Oh yeah, I remember that. Seemed like they had some coating on them for the first week. Couldn't drive in a straight line on the freeway! But it wears off and you're good to go. FYI, I ran them at 35 psi for years and it was too high (they wore in the center more on all 4 tires). I eventually went to 33 front/31 rear (on a double cab and a hard tonneau).

The guys at Tire Kingdom said let's try 50...they were guessing too. I'll air them down tonight to what you said, give it a try. Thanks.

Inspired by the "most unique mod" I put this into my taco today. Waiting for the adhesives to dry and am going to intall a faceplate over it since my dremel got a little over-anxiuous.

But it works! and was surprisingly easy to install.

    My first mod!
