Found it confusing as well when I was ordering. From the Wheeler's Off-Road web site:

Old Man Emu MT64 Rear Shock Set for 2nd & 3rd Gen Tacoma (2005-2023)
MT64 rear shocks are specifically designed to cater to the needs of overland and heavy vehicles with extreme added weight, offering unparalleled load-handling capabilities and vehicle-specific damping, tuned for different loads and vehicle setups. These cutting-edge shocks are built to handle the unique challenges faced by vehicles equipped with campers, toppers, tents, and rack systems. These additions create a dynamic shifting load, both in terms of front-to-back and side-to-side movements. MT64 is the ultimate overlanding authority, designed for the traveler who wants a smooth ride and comfort both on and off-road. Overlanding demands shocks that can handle all conditions, day after day and that is what MT64 is designed to do.

This is a set of (1) left-hand shock & (1) one right-hand shock in your choice of medium load or heavy load. Suitable for lifts of 0-3".

    Features:
    • Monotube shock with a massive 2.8-inch diameter body allowing for more oil and accurate shock tuning.
    • Aerospace-grade aluminum body dissipates heat fifteen times faster than steel and increases protection against stone damage.
    • Forged body cap and rod ends reduce weight while maintaining strength.
    • Digressive valving instantly reacts to changing surface conditions to maximize performance.
    • Smooth controlled ride for everyday and long-distance driving to reduce fatigue and improve driver and passenger comfort.
    • Includes shaft stone guard.
WOR-311511 is a set of (1) MT64601013L & (1) MT64601013R shock. We recommend these for trucks carrying occasional light to medium loads.
WOR-311510 is a set of (1) MT64601014L & (1) MT64601014R shock. We recommend these for trucks carrying constant heavy loads.
    AVAILABLE OPTIONS:

WOR-311510 - Old Man Emu MT64 Rear Shock Set for 2nd & 3rd Gen Tacoma (2005-2023) - Heavy Load Springs

WOR-311511 - Old Man Emu MT64 Rear Shock Set for 2nd & 3rd Gen Tacoma (2005-2023) - Medium Load Springs

    3" lift? A.R.E cap 285/70/17 moto metal 955 17x9

Don't know if it still applys, but when I was searching lifts,
most of the OME springs were at #620in/lbs, numbers indicating different lift heights.

I did find #882 springs for 2_2.5" lift were #590in/lbs, which is what I put on my truck.
The numbers 884 & below were for 1st gen, (I believe)

The Nitrocharger Plus which I think is replacing the Nitrocharger or Nitrocharger Sport. Also uses the same 4004 spring as the mt64

The Nitrocharger and sports aren't easy to find anymore. Neither are the 800 series springs that went along with them.

    the 4004 is a 588# spring.

    4005 is 4runner. same weight.

If you can get your hands on one of those 620# springs, It should work with the MT64'S instead of the 4004. 588#. (Tacomas)

Can you run regular 3”ID springs on those? That would give you the ability to swap springs to optimize your coil over for your vehicle weight

    The 4004 is 3"ID.....
I'm only as familiar as I am because the whole 1 spring for all threw me for a loop at the beginning.

Yeah, that leads me to believe you could swap em to any spring you want. Find a set of eibachs or something with the spring rate you need and send it!
