Good Morning all, I made it back from Los Angeles over the weekend.

My sister's procedure last Monday went flawlessly, and she is recovering very rapidly. It was a minimally invasive procedure, done using a single catheter through the femoral artery in one leg. She lives in the suburb of Lakewood, the procedure was done at UCLA Medical center in west Los Angeles, so we got to drive 35 miles through the heart of LA rush hour traffic when I took her in, and the next day when I brought her back home. I certainly do not miss that shit. 2 hours to get back to her house on Monday on the 405/105/605 freeways. Ugh....

She was feeling stir crazy on Friday, wanted to get out of the house and stretch her legs. she found an ad in the newest AAA Magazine for a Shelby car museum in Irvine, which isn't too far from her home, so we went on Friday. She knows the Shelby AC 427 Cobra is my all time dream car, and this place did not disappoint. It's a private museum, not affiliated with the Shelby family. If anyone is interested, look up Segerstrom Shelby Event Center in Irvine, CA.

I took at least 50 pictures, here are some of the better ones to start off a Monday on the right foot.

    You're welcome :D

The two outside cars are bare, brushed Aluminum.

And yes, this one is chromed. I had never seen one in this finish. Me like!!

"No such thing as too much horsepower" I could not agree more!!

    IMG_9187.jpg

And his last creation - the Shelby S1.

    IMG_9190.jpg

My personal favorite. 700 - 900 horsepower. I almost wet myself thinking what this monster must sound like at full throttle, and what it must feel like to be the one mashing the go fast pedal to the floorboard.....

No I was riding down a forest service road trying to find some river with no people. Where I normally fish there were 5 cars and a bunch of people fishing.
