They don't make the crf250l anymore? It's the crf300l now. And definitely go that route over an older 250, it has road-based service intervals instead of trail/track based ones.

50 extra CCs would be good. But i wouldn't put much thought on trail/track based service intervals if it's being use on the road.

I might have to fix some of my plastics gouges to get the wrap to look decent w/o bubbles, or just relatively smooth. Winter project to figure out.

New DR-Z4SM looks fun. EICMA is in full swing. Lots of new stuff being debuted.

Emissions is most likely. Could be something in the cam/head that got reworked.

But yeah im sure a tune would open it. Gone will be the day of the $60 jd jetting kit though for that.

    most likely ya

that sadly is a bummer and people will have to spend a good bit of money to tune it which does suck but if you can get more power out of it ill take it. but wait and see

FI doesn't provide any "more" power than a carb does when using the same motor.

So I doubt it'll see more, but again that boils down to cam size and head design

true but they have claimed the motor isnt exactly the same with new internals but gotta wait and see if that is a true statement or just well bold new graphics! kinda statement.

Thats very interesting indeed... v3 layout (two facing forward, 1 facing rear) with an electric turbo slapped on top. What a weird engine layout choice. Electric turbos make sense to me, at least more so than like suzukis supercharger layout. Why rob hp on the low end to make it on the top w/ a supercharger when battery tech is so good these days you can use an electric turbo in bursts instead. I hope they actually find a way to put it into production down the road.
