Car culture chases are all 0/5, they are usually just a murdered out version of one of the 5.

 

Thames panel and P1800 Volvo Hot Wheels Gasser's with modifications. Survived our trip to South Carolina and had a good time with family, Also took in the SE Gasser season finale in Shelby North Carolina with my brother. Hurricane storm damage was still unbelievable even 50 miles away from Asheville where my brother lives. Thousands of trees were still down and needing removed. I saw houses partially destroyed buried under trees. Tarps for roofs and windows and a mobile home completely split in two by a tree. My brother escaped most of that only loosing 1 of his trees and a fence. Unbelievable what happened there and we never got close to Asheville, Truck traffic was insane with Interstates 40 and 26 closed. I scored a few die casts and couldn't get over how all the stores were stocked and the variety of choices. Never see that up here in Ohio. I was in 6 Walmarts and as many Targets and who knows how many Krogers and Dollar Stores. Im to specific which is why I didnt have a great haul. Enjoyed looking though.

 

Two more I will add. Both Hot Wheels and with modifications. The Collector had the roof decals removed and the P1800 was repainted.

They only made 1,500 so eBay will be your best bet. I had to wait a year to get this one out of the UK last December. I paid about $300 shipped, as a data point. Kyosho did a repaint / rebrand in dark green with the same wheels, but black is way better.

I’ve seen most of the movies in the franchise but I don’t recall an FJ43 in any of them, unless it was somewhere in the background during one of the Latin American scenes, not even sure if that would be a BJ or an FJ.

Either way, pretty cool.

 

The Land Cruiser was featured in the eighth movie, used by Charlize Theron's character. Great car, terrible film.
