Does anyone out there have pictures of a 2024 with a SmartCap and a full roof rack? I really want a Prinsu rack and its a toss up right now between smart cap and ARE overland canopy. The SmartCap looks like its taller than the cab. If I install a roof rack across the entire truck will the front and the back be even? Also does anyone have pics of 6' long smartcap? Thanks!!!

It's pretty much flush. The cab roof is not flat so they're some differences depending on where you are checking.

I’m going to get a smart cap for my 6’ bed also. I have a pioneer rack I’m going to use from my 16 taco.

I only got the security screen for the back window. It is flimsy and the only reason I got it was to hang my rearview camera off of it and maybe a curtain to block prying eyes.

IMHO camp kitchen seems utensil specific and blocks access to the bed. Of course, you might like it and tell us how it worked out.

I don't need no-stinking Smartcap kitchen. :bananadance: (But Smartcap stuff is quality, in my experience.)

But I do like the molle storage.

yeah, I like it. I can sleep in the back with the tailgate and hatch closed. Have taken it camping several times since I got it at the end of September. Here's a picture with my brothers "WJ"*.

*"Wimpy Jeep". That's what the CJ and Wrangler drivers call "lesser" jeeps as they offer to "winch you up that stretch". He, of course, drove up it.

I have a driver's side bin that I keep my camp kitchen stuff in. Stove, ARB folding utensil kit, mess kit, food. I quickly set it up on the tailgate. I've had to scale it back from my previous setup to get it all in there, but it's nice to have it all in once compact place at eye level and not swimming around in the bed of the truck. I considered the kitchen, but I already had all the camp kitchen gear that I needed. As much as I want to camp out of my truck 50 nights a year, I get about 15 nights on average. I couldn't justify spending the money and hauling around the kitchen full time. The bin takes up a dead space and leaves the floor of the bed open. The bin works particularly well with how I store my mountain bike. I can store the bike in the bed of the truck while still having enough room for an Xped laying the floor to sleep on. I do have a cot that fits over the wheel well which leaves room for more rec equipment, but I don't often use it. The bin is spendy, but has proven to be worth it for me.

I have a 21 long bed, but i made my own by just using load bars. Attached right to the track on top it is almost flush and level with my Prinsu rack.

How much does the SmartCap for the 6 ft bed weigh?

    Curious about weight.

I was shocked - according to the RSI specs, the listed weight for the Sport and Adventure for the 4th gen 5ft beds is only 125lbs?

Even compared to other 5ft mid-sized trucks that's almost 75lbs lighter...

Looks Great! What "feet" did you use to attach your platform rack to the rails of your Smartcap? I have a Rhino Rack Pioneer Platform and I am trying to figure out the best and lowest method to attach it to my Smartcap.

    Thanks in Advance!
