We got a serial corner pee'er at work. They take a bunch of paper towels and toilet paper, put them in the corner of the stall, and proceed to pee on them. People are animals I tell you o_O

There's also someone in another bathroom that is kicking the toilet paper dispenser off the stall and then peeing in it.

    I just can't anymore... :goingcrazy:

I went to japan and no having to deal with a tip screen at every interaction was nice. Wish the US would just pay their wage and get rid of tipping. I 100% won't tip a cashier, a waiter is a different story.

    I can't like that...

Coming from industry I can however sympathize.

It is understandable that high use bathrooms get dirty quickly, even with courteous people using them, however there is a difference when it is willful nastiness.

I was a pretty lax enforcer of (the less important) rules preferring to discuss the rule and warn the individual -- if I caught either of the above it would be a rapid trip to the Plant Managers office and an escort out the door.

Literally went to use the bathroom one day and I look down and there's a nugget on the ground. HOW TF?!
Also apparently work with children who flick their boogers on the walls and doodle on the tp dispensers.

The stories I have about animals abusing the restrooms.

We pulled clogged groaners to find someone had flushed safety goggles. There is no way they could have been flushed, they reached into the shitter to push the goggles past the 1st bend!

Entire rolls of toilet paper were done the same way!

Entire sewers were choked off by rubber gloves. We would pull the man covers to find blocked sections. It was common to see air trapped in the tips of the rubber gloves and the gloves floating tips up on the sewer water. Looked like people were trying to swim to the surface.

It got so bad porta crappers were brought in and the bathrooms were locked. It's no fun using an outside port a pot in the dead of winter here in Michigan!

The one I find interesting is all the mini liquor bottles I find floating on the top of each of the 4 sewer ejector tanks. The needles yea I expect, but mini liquor bottles, come on!

Customer just came in with about 10 parts he needed cut. He ask me how soon can I get to them? I said I could have them done in a couple hours, he said I need them sooner than that let me see what I can find, I may be back.

I said that's fine but if you come back, it'll still be a couple hours o_O

This thread certainly made a queasy turn…. :puke:

Wonder if they started to make everyone pay for cleaning and maintenance (beyond typical use) of multiuse bathrooms would make a difference. Be an animal, pay the price:spending:

Everyone paying would ratchet up the peer pressure too :smack:

We got this lathe new, in the late 90’s. It’s been dead for a couple years. Can’t get parts for it, other guy tried to fix it. Dead.

Boss is ready to haul it for scrap, I been thinking about converting it to a wood lathe at home. Take all the cnc stuff off, etc. Put a 110V motor on it.

    I don’t know…

Guy at church ask me what I do, yada yada he said can you make me something?

He carried this to a shop we use for fab work and they told him $300 for two pieces.

They would have laser cut them.

I milled them and told him $40 :D
