I think we should have a SOTEC meetup in Mav's garage where one person works and the rest just stand around drinking.

 

Soooo we'll both be looking at utube... Ok you pause and tell what to do.hahaha.

We just all passive aggressively pressure the newest member into cutting their truck up further and further

 

Oh . So we're starting a union.. nice union dues coming to SOTEC

 

Im really good at the standing around and drinking part.

Figured I'll throw it out there. Buddy of mine from a old employer opened up a new tire shop and hired me on as lead tech/general management. Let me know if you need tires for pretty much anything and we'll figure something out.

Anyone know any frame straightening shops in the GTA?

 

Not much liking the sound of this.

 

It's nothing super serious, more annoying than anything else. Did a frame repair with Safe-T-Caps but I guess I clamped it a little too hard when I was welding it on, now my rear left side of the frame sags down a bit. Rear end alignment is kinda messed up a bit too because of it.

is it easy to get a pic of? Whats bananna'd id bananna'd now but may have been caused by the welding heat shrinking the bottom side of the frame. As a last ditch resort or just a resort, heat bending it back is possible. Basically lay beads on the opposite side till its straight. This video is a good example; with TIG but same still applies.
