Check out the 2018 film, Edie, about an elderly widow who climbs Mount Suilven in Scotland.
Sometimes called "The Lonely Mountain".

It's not all that high or difficult, and there's actually a hiking trail to the top.
But it's certainly a sight to see.

Story Time with Gritto

My mother's people were Gunns.
The Gunn clan were originally vikings who settled Caithness, the northernmost tip of Scotland.
The clan name was shortened from Gunnar, the name of a viking chief.

They carried on a bitter feud with Clan Keith for hundreds of years.

The Gunn coat of arms sports a Longship and a muzzled Bear.
The Longship symbolizes the viking origin, and the Bear?
Well, the Bear was the clan totem of the Keiths

The Keiths won in the end, and many of the Gunns emigrated to America.
But there are still some there in Caithness.
