I changed mine at 151000 klms. They were still in good shape but I have noticed an improvement in acceleration with the new plugs.

    This and that
I got smoked off the line by a 4th gen sr5. I held on pretty good though. Chirped hard into second. He had about half a length on me until 55-60 and he backed off to turn. Also my truck has been tuned, and I said I wasn’t gonna race people anymore :anonymous:

    Well yeah, same HP but the I4 Turbo has 317 lb.-ft. @ 1700 rpm vs out V6's 265 lb.-ft. @ 4600 rpm, that is almost instant torque... But no V6 is why I bought a 2023 vs a 2024...

You running the OTT or similar tune, or a custom tune??

Diode Dynamics 3000k Elite fogs. I actually put them in last night. Tested them in the rain and I'm a believer. My vision was 10-15yrs younger. Pics from today... another rainy depressing shizhole day.

A 0-1778 record would make one unwilling to make public confessions.

I'm currently in an SR5 loaner the dealership gave me and I gotta say, this truck blows my 3rd gen out of the water as far as acceleration. I don't know about the longevity of the turbo 4, but its frickin' quick.

Going 90 I still can hit the gas and accelerate.

Bought a backup oil filter housing and extra base plug. I somewhat welded the baseplate to my filter housing on the truck and need to remove it without destroying the housing. But I have a backup.

Then sat in a 2024 (2025 ... did not look). But it was one of MANY MANY on the lot. Gen 4 looks worse every time I look at one up close and the interior is ... well ... uggh. At least the "off-road" model does not have the 28-in TV screen.

EDIT: The sticker said $51k.:annoyed:

While the "1778" may be a guess, the "0" is a fact. :D

It is an emissions warranty thing, I am sure they would go 100K (no prof) or more with no problems, but as 10ptXtreme (EDIT, it was oostroma that said, ran better after about 90K--) already said, he can feel a difference after replacing them... Running good and running at 100% or as close to it as possible, is 2 different things...

5 Maintenance services of spark plugs are required under the terms of the Emissions Control Warranty.

    Yeah.
Pretty much, LOL. I couldn't find Lucas locally so I contacted ECGS about using SuperTech 85w140. They said it was fine -- changing the oil regularly is more important than the brand. This probably holds true for the synthetic/non-synthetic choice as well. I just think boutique oils are a waste of money.
