600 wheel will be silly. I was 280 on a heartbreaker dyno (stock was 200-215) and it was quick enough a 2-3-4 would be “step out of the vehicle” if you weren’t paying attention. Granted I only had a Cobb street DP, SPT intake / exhaust, an upgraded EBCS and a ProTune so it wasn’t anything particularly intense, but I definitely miss it these days.

It’s just playing the waiting game, now.

All this subaru talk reminds me of helping my roommate build his motor in the basement of our apartment at the time. Makes about 350 whp. Yes it is the same dude that has the flat 6 baja

This made 305hp on a dynojet. 2-3-4 in this is already pretty fun, but you get used to the power over time, so I just want more.
I would love an STI swapped Baja

Mine was a Dyno Dynamics, so given the 10-12% difference in readings we’re probably about equal. Plenty for a street car for me. I don’t need that much even anymore. I just want the big dumb wing and occasional boosty noises.

Mine with the coilovers will kick the ass end out when I goose it in a corner. I was so tired of the understeer, I optioned my coilovers for Mustang shenanigans. Makes autocross a lot more controllable and enjoyable

My Subaru (actually a Saab iykyk) makes 320whp&tq (L&S dyno stock sti baselines 240whp) and I think it's too fast. I couldn't imagine what 600 would be like.

Does anyone know the color of the back up wire Toyota uses? Assuming they use the same color for every vehicle which I think they do. A friend bought and Echo to use as his winter wide and wants to put a back up camera in it.

Update: My friend called. He got it all installed and working fine. He couldn't find a way to connect the wire on the radio end. He called Crutchfeld and they told him that they didn't do it that way any longer. There is now a button on the radio itself that you have to press manually to activate the back up camera.

The included instructions don't mention that for some reason, just show the no longer provided input on the back of the radio. It's a BOSS radio and looking on line there is an on screen "Camera" button.

Seems like a really odd way to do it, though.

Thank you for that. I sent it along to my friend and he appreciates it greatly as well. I haven't heard from him whether he's done the install or not but I will let you all know how it comes out.

One of the many things I like about this forum is how people are willing to help other people.
