Personally I mount mine at crotch level, doesn't everyone?

OP, run it along your headliner, over to your a'pillar, through your dash, down behind the radio, then out through the very bottom. I recommend passenger side

I run mine hanging down the center of the window and then put it behind the radio/heater bezel. I want others to know I have a dash-cam. Stops some stupidity.

I have a tiny little Garmin that is awesome. I just ran it down the headliner and pillar into the dash. I run it off a hot wire so it can always record.

I tucked the wire on my truck, moms car and buddies truck in the headliner into the weather strip then ran it to the cigarette lighter.

On my vehicles I put it behind the rear view mirror, ziptie the wire to the mirror arm portion, run it along the headliner and down the A pillar, to a USB to 12v adaptor, to a add a fuse at the in cabin fuse box slot which has power when the key is on.

Edit - I think this is the 12v to usb adaptor I used. There's many cheaper options on Amazon but I figure I want to spend a little more to hopefully get something better quality.
