I placed an order on this website. When I asked them when will they ship my order, they stated that there is a lead time of 2 weeks. I responded saying they stated online it is available and ready to ship. They stopped responding. I asked to cancel and refund and they never responded. I suspect they are a scam or they have awful customer service. Beware

 

You just described pretty much every single drop shipping site out there.

The shipping container probably hasn’t arrived from Shenzhen or is locked up in customs at the LA port.

 

I ordered a prinsu roof rack which is supposedly made in USA

 

Just call your visa company and cancel the purchase as fraud. Ive done this plenty of times. They will lose their ability to accept Visa with poor business practices. Icon did the same thing to me recently.

 

charge back and order directly from prinsu/cbi. they are having a sale right now. Also 2 week lead time sounds about right looking directly at prinsu's site.

I received an email today stating they canceled the order. Based on your photos, it must be one of those places that count on a customer to place a drop ship order.

 

There's nothing wrong with drop shipping companies in general. But there's also a lot of moving parts behind the scenes. I generally try to avoid them and buy direct when possible. And if a place drop ships, but they make it clear "SHIPPED DIRECTLY FROM MANUFACTURER" I think that's a better system.
