Another Lift Question

Hey everyone i know there are tons of lift questions out there and ive asked many of them but here is what i am going for right now, i have one place that will install the bilstein 5100's for me plus a procomp 3" lift and i believe its a coilover but not sure and it was 1138 for that and thats including the AAL all around or i can just do the 5100's and do a revtek 3" lift with AAL for about 800 dollars, what would you guys do and i know toytec is better but cant find anyone to install them, any input would be great, thanks everyone.

 

That same place should install the toytec lift or which ever you chose, it will be the same. The AAL will only be in the rear. I would personally go for the 5100s with coil overs and aal in the rear. That will benefit you if you wheel.

 

Agree with luk, at the shop I had it done he gave me a number of choices to pick from, they stated we will install any company.
Now I do know of shops down south who will install a lift, not of their choice or companies they deal with, but they will charge a little more.

 

yeah i dont get it, ive asked if they would install the toytec coilovers and they said no because that cant guarantee it so they dont sell them or install them and i have nowhere to install them or anyone to help me, and it would be a procomp coilover with the 5100's in the front and rear and AAL in the rear.

 

procomp is reputable, no worries there.

^ I would go that route! Let them help. Really not much could go wrong on the install rather easy. Let them run with it. You could learn alot and help answer others questions on here with personal experience.

Good question, the kits are all the same basically. Must be contractual.

 

yeah but i kinda liked the sound of the procomp coilovers with the 5100's but i thought coilovers came with suspension already but i dont know much.

 

oh and what do you guys think about the revtek lift? its not like i take it offroad much but i dont want it to fall apart on me if i do.

 

somebody correct me if i'm wrong...but from what i know, coilovers come with shocks. so if you specifically want 5100s you will want to get coils instead of coilovers.

 

If you don't off road much, go my route, I went 3"toytec, kept the trd shocks, 884 coils up front, stick with the aal I used blocks. Installed at home cost $460

 

yeah i thought they came with shocks as well so i dont know what kind of setup that guy set me up with haha i think im just gonna put the 5100's on first and then go with the revtek from les schwab it wont cost to much but im still shopping around. Maybe ill just go with the full procomp coilover setup.
