Morning crew we bounced around 3 different stations yesterday. But did see the 20' PVC pipe wand working yesterday we'll see if it lasts.
    Have a good day today.

    Good morning Wrenchmen :hattip:

Yesterday was a good days work on the GMC, the rocker panels & cab corners are looking pretty smooth and with a little more work should be ready for paint.

We put the bumper, hitch & spare tire winch back on so the only thing left to bolt back on is the box.

Yippity skippity, this heap might just drive out of the garage today or tomorrow!
    :woot::woot::woot:

I hope y'all find equal hope and joy in your day too. :yay:

Good morning friends! Hope you all have a great Thursday :hattip:

I'll go into more detail about dad now that I'm back at work.

Tuesday about 5:00 PM mom called me and said dad was in an ambulance, unresponsive and they didn't know if he was going to make it. We are 1:20 away from the hospital so off we went.

We get there, dad is in ICU on a breathing machine and they have him sedated. They did a scan and saw the clot in his pulmonary artery.

They gave him some super duper powerful blood clot dissolve stuff and said they would try and take him off sedation and the breathing machine Weds. morning and see what happened.

Mom and I spent the night at the hospital. Mom didn't want to stay in the room with dad seeing him like that so we stayed in the ICU waiting room. About midnight a nurse came in and said only one of you can stay and you have to stay in his room. I wasn't making mom leave and she didn't want to be alone so I told the nurse here's our deal, I live in Virginia and my wife took our kids back home. My brother went home and took moms car. We have no where to go and no way to get there. She said let me talk to my super. She came back and said you're fine.

About 5 minutes later a nurse we hadn't talked to brought mom and nice reclining chair to sleep in.

Yesterday morning about 7:30 my brother came back. I walked in to check on dad and they had mitts on his hands so he couldn't pull the IV's out.

He was coming off the sedation and he looked at me, held the mitts up and looked at them, then touched the breathing tube. He didn't know what was going on. I said hold on. I went and got my brother and told him let him see you so he knows you're here.

We talked to him and told him we loved him.

About an hour later they took the tube out and the mitts off and he was talking to us like nothing happened. My wife and kids came back about 10:30 and we left about 3:00 yesterday. He was doing better.

I talked to mom last night and she said he was cutting up and doing good and they were going to try to get him some food.

I haven't talked to mom this morning to see how he is. I thank God he's still with us and we get a little more time with him

Re: Bus' Everglades python vs whitetail story...
I hunt where the north tip of the Everglades meets the St Johns River system, and those snakes are migrating further north every day. We had a 15 footer killed in our county this year. I haven't seen one yet, but I also refuse to walk through waist deep water to get to a spot.

So glad to hear good news!

Every day with your loved ones is a gift, if they are family or friends it doesn't matter, just as long as they are good people. :fistbump:
