    Fact:
With the same size (OD) tires, 16s offer more rubber (distance) to absorb impact and protect the rim.
17s get your axle one-half-inch higher (same size tire).

    Opinion:
I have no issues with my factory brakes, so I run 16s. If you install larger brake discs, then 17s are required.
I prefer the "donut" look of 16s. I puke when I see low profile tires on anything other than a racetrack runner.

On that Sequoia you'll have to go 17" to clear your brakes.

I installed the 16x7.5 wheels and steering wheel vibrates around 60-70mph on highway..

Factory steel 17x7.5 vs 17x8 analog with a 10.2 wide tire.
I know it will fit but will the 17x8 poke the sides out to much?

Would love to see an answer, with tire size indicated if possible.

That’s the size I’m running. First had 265/70/17 tires and now have 285/75/17 with a lift, no issues with either. I have a few pics on page 10.

I run 265 70 17 in E rated too. Killed the gas mileage a little more but it's not a Prius.
