There was a clean one for sale in the neighborhood adjacent to mine, but the guy decided not to sell it. We walk our dog over there occasionally, and I got all excited when I saw the sign...next time I walked by it was no longer for sale. One of these days, I am going to ask him about it.

Im kinda looking at 99 and older. Want to register as an antique so i dont have to do emissions or safety inspections. Also looking for higher mileage, aka lower price. Probably around 3500 or lower

my neighbor was selling his LX470. It's pretty nice with an OME lift and looks brand new. I haven't seen him in a few weeks but I'd have to ask year and if it's still for sale.

I bet that is a sweet truck...but I also doubt he'd let it go for $3500 like David is asking! People think LCs and their Lexus cousins are gold plated nowadays.

Edit: to add that I'm pretty sure the same applied to my neighbor's Runner...way too clean to be anything less that $20K or something ridiculous probably.

I definitely didn't even notice that haha. It is definitely more than that.

I did see an FJ60 for around that price on FB marketplace...who knows it's condition though

been a month, but they had it on display at the Solheim cup last month along with a Taco. I forget what dealer it was since I was there for the LPGA and not that.

You’re going to spend at least $10k for one in decent shape. $3500 is a fixer upper. I spent $10,500 for my 97 LC triple locked and that was a screaming deal as it didn’t have any major issues. I was able to clear both check engine lights and have driven it down to Windrock and back without issue. Most sellers are looking for at least $15k if they don’t have major issues but if you’re patient you can find a good deal.

I think the dealer in Arlington has them discounted to around 67k. The dealer I went to this week gave me a great trade in offer on my truck buy wouldn't budge more than $200 off MSRP  for the LC250. Then they came back at invoice for the LC250 but said they couldn't take my trade in. Typical stealership games...

I like going to Toyota in Gaithersburg. They dont do the typical dealer markups. Check out their inventory

Yeah the dealer I went to didn't have markups either...they were just very firm on the MSRP and also on making a specific amount of money off of me. Can't blame them really I suppose...even though invoice plus my trade would have still made them plenty of money. :notsure:

Edit: maybe that whole "end of the month" thing doesn't have the leverage it used to?

Thats the mindset Im in, if Im going to buy a new vehicle. If Im going to mod it anyways, why pay for stuff that Im going to replace. But thats just me

I get that, but it is still a crap ton of money. For just a little bit more, you could have the LC (mid) trim without the premium package, and that gives you some nice upgrades along with the most important one in my book: the sway-bar disconnect mechanism (SDM).

Edit: that blue one listed at the same dealer you posted is the mid trim without premium. If they removed all the bullshit port options that you don't need, it would only be a little more than the 1958.

Edit #2: for my scenario, I am only going to mod the truck for wheels/tires and I want all the comfort goodies in my old age, lol. Plus, no way I am taking a $70k truck off road until it is old and paid off.

Seen this earlier today a block down the road. Pretty sure a right hander as well.
