Any one buy from Drews fab in Madera, CA?

I am genuinely surprised someone hasn't gone to his shop personally; I understand many people are across the states but in one of the forums, a few were semi-local to him.

 

That not even including allllllllll the Facebook pages and posts. *whew* One can stay up all night reading those, there's soooooo much Like…..ALOT! Prolly a bunch that these guys haven’t even seen! Local pages, prerunner pages, etc. What do you think TW, wanna see those too?

What did you really hope to achieve responding to just me? I think you wasted your time. You should have puffed your chest when you had some actual leverage. But I must say it is a real treat to see you finally respond to someone on here.

 

I fully endorse this level of call-out. . It would be nice if he ever came back to see what people are saying. He just came in though dropped a couple of "you guys are mean" and left.

I spoke with someone closer to the "industry" last week and apparently, it's known how much of a scammer he is. We just need to keep doing the work to get the message out.

Meanwhile, everyone's waiting for their paid-for product and he's asking people to be patient with him while he goes down to Baja for some fun. Not a good look for people that actually know what going on.

 

I took over his shop truck build in the beginning of February of this year, I was lucky enough to get my truck back. Its a blue extended cab Silverado with Zona Motorsports Race Kit. I was excited to finally start a prerunner build. Man I wish I would of pass. The day I went down to pay him for the truck and parts I noticed it had some oil leaks and was gonna negotiate the price a bit, I had seen the rear main was leaking a bit. When I was going to negotiate he legit offered to fix the seal and do a full tune up even put it in writing. He gave me a month long build and was going to start asap. I had a friend reach out tell me to go get my money back, unfortunately I had already gave him 10k so I felt like I needed to commit. My buddy told me he had a friend get a cage built in his truck and found silicone to look like welds with spray paint. Well fast forward to mid April after really following up pretty much telling him I wanted the truck he told me I could come get it. I told him that I was renting a car taking a day off work to go pick it up. I repeated this to him many times throughout the week, I just wanted to show up look it over and head home. When I showed up the truck was jacked up in the air without tie rods, apparently he cut the tie rods short and had to cut and add I piece to extend them which he did a terrible job at. He threw them on drove the truck to the alignment shop, which I had to wait. The overall experience was terrible Im in the process of fix all the mess ups and cut corners. I had him tow the truck back just because I couldn't trust him. I'm just now starting to get it dialed in. I called him out on my Instagram for shitty tie rods and never sending the billet ones and he pretty much blocked me. He's hands down the worst to deal with. He never did any of the tune up, rear main seal or maintenance, never sent updated tie rods never reimbursed for the work he didn't do. Please avoid at all cost! I just recently submitted to Google that he's in business and now people can leave reviews on Google. Honestly with the power of social media these days I feel like making a video for all the people he's scammed it's insane to see how he's been in business this long.

Question: could this perhaps be a geometry issue vs weld heat? Looks like those areas could’ve benefited from being plated and reinforced before being welded on

 

I figured I'd follow up on his lawsuit, which he lost. He paid $7,500 of the $9,000 owed but refused to pay the rest.

 

Yup, problem with small claims court is that the legal system won't enforce it via asset forfeiture, wage garnish, etc etc at least not in Massachusetts. Means nothing if the defendant doesn't choose to pay up

UPDATE/Thread Bump: I got upgraded up from "soon" to "I'll get working on it".

This Dude can't complete an order from 14 months ago but just posted he's starting a new shop truck build. I guess I need more Instagram followers for him to complete my work.
