Considering the shit they did to my splash shield bolts, cross threaded and siezed, I'm pretty sure the filter didn't get changed for the last one or two "free" changes the dealer did, I am just doing it myself from now on. It's not hard, don't even need to jack the thing up. And I can make sure the damn splash shield bolts are anti-seized and threaded in properly. And it's cheaper. Toyota filter and o-rings, Mobil 1 from Wally-world.

How have the AT4W been? Snow, rain, dirt, rock, highway performance?

Dirt, sand - ok. except on sand you need to reduce pressure (regular cold is 35 psi, on sand i used 15 psi and moved slowly). (im on rwd) On highway - noise is of course much more noise than oem ones, it handles highway very well. no problems at all. except breaking - i switched from oem wrangler tires, and at4w is 20 lbs heavier each than oem, so it feels that you need to start breaking a little earlier than before, but after nearly 2 month i get used to it. Rain, im in SoFlo so its raining as hell sometimes and many street around our house are flooded during storms - this tires ARE WAY MUCH better than oem ones. On highway during rain it is also way better traction and feeling. the only thing with them - it is LT tires, so a little bit more stiffer i think, but it is truck not a benz s klasse

I was going to do the 5K oil change interval to make it easy to remember but I don’t drive 5K per year. So now I just do the annual service in Oct/Nov when I do my tractor maintenance. I’ve got to be careful not to put diesel oil in the Taco :)

The only thing good about the nerf bars foot steps is, they make 5' gf's really happy.

Funny enough my wife is barely 5’3 and she says they get in the way. They are too high to really be any help.

OK thanks, I have a RWD with the Firestone Destinations LE3s and love them, I am guessing that the 4x4s are mainly Goodyear Wrangler ATs for the 16" tires then?? Or just part of the trim level for the 4x4s?
