Repaired a cheapo flowerpot night light yesterday. Wasn't worth my time but got an unexpected sense of accomplishment from a nothing little job. So thanks China, I think. First thing I did this am, was look out the window, see if the light was on. It was. I renamed it the hope flower... hope it works for a while.

Good morning porch peeps and donut makers. I'm finding it increasingly difficult to enjoy making donuts for my employer. I came to work for them after they recruited me, promised me a couple things and are now pulling shenanigans. I thought this would be my last employer as I head to retirement, but I have refreshed my resume and am now interviewing with another company.
    We'll see. :fingerscrossed:
In the meantime...we are headed to the farm to get more punch-list stuff done and enjoy the country life for a couple days.
May your day ahead and the weekend be wonderful, peaceful, and safe. :hattip:

Happening to me all too often these days.

The inside of my front doors looks the same. Nice job.

Sorry to read this but I understand.

Good morning. All rested up and raring to go today. Going to help a friend measure her space in her bedroom where she would like a TV installed. Black Friday is looming and deals on TV's will be decent.

Friday? Just another weekend day for a retiree! LOL!

Kettlebell day! Nasty day outside, so garage projects and man cave day. I need a little vitamin D! Looks like no sun until Sunday…long spell with no sun for Colorado. Unusual! But we can certainly use the moisture! Come on snow, or rain…whatever?

Have a fantastic day all you moldy oldies!

    Morning all:

What a bunch of Pricks, if it was for a rifle I would have given him 1 of my rounds and told him ---DON'T MISS!
If it was for a shotgun, I would give him what he needed for a limit, and also told him---DON'T MISS!
Then I would have offered to give him at least some of the ammo that I had in able for him to hunt for at least a little while.
One good thing when we deer hunt, most of us shot 30-06's and could easily help each other out if one of us forgot our ammo, guaranteed the guy who forgot his ammo would have a full magazine of 4-5 rounds while hunting, that's more than enough.

:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! Off to the regular Dr. in a few for what must be a follow up follow up follow up. I have no idea. If it's not raining on me, start stripping the greenhouse.

They are "OEM quality" from Amazon. The hard part was finding the gloss black - most are "paintable". I didn't want to try an paint that shape!

Those aren’t buddies, they are pieces of shit. Couldn’t imagine doing that to anyone. Makes me mad thinking about it. If that was me I’d never speak to those aholes again and have anything to do with them. That really got me going this morning.

Well, they weren't done messing with the yard. You can barely see the box cover. Wife was using the iron rake to get stones out of the "gress"; shredding it! Eventually, I got the leaf rake and cleaned into the dirt pile. I told her someone would come and "finish", put the stone edging back, and I swept up the rocks in front of the driveway, because of how easily they weaponize in kids hands....

This just in. She says that someone with a back hoe just cleaned up the dirt, and dumped it back on the yard... Sheesh. I will wait and see, because I'm not doing it!

EDIT: Update, went out to find all the dirt on the sidewalk, and my too nice neighbor out there with her shovel and wagon, to take the dirt. "They said the boss said to just leave it there". Apparently, my wife went out and yelled and they got a guy over there. My wife being the NOT too nice person. She's not happy, I'm not shoveling, and I'm not in shape with my hips to play with the stone edging.

Update to the edit update. The women are shoveling, sweeping, paver replacing to get the mess cleared before we get whatever rain we get. Someone, somewhere in the City or contractors office will likely get an earful!
