    such a good guy

My wife wont go on my bike. And if I got another one, she wouldnt go on it either. The last time she went out, was when I had the red 48

just a couple of things tbh
tbh that sounds fair sucks but oh well it happens when you have little ones it seems.
i guess lol i just enjoy going out on the bike with her. i get a lot in here dont like riding two up because you have to change how you ride and are responsible for the other party which is very true but idk i just enjoy it a lot more when we are out and about together.

would love my own personal bike once she gets her own but for now i dont see a reason to since anytime i go somewhere on the bike minus work she goes with me normally.

maybe that means you need another 48? lol

my other neighbor is having a 2nd kid in 3 weeks. He just told me he's trading in his Ducati Streetfighter for a Triumph Rocket 3 Storm. He also has a Duc Diavel. Must be nice to have 2x $20k power cruisers

The rain FINALLY let up. Unfortunately I have to work today; it's nice and sunny. But rain is in the forecast for the weekend. But, as they say, if you don't like the weather in the midwest, wait 30 minutes and it'll change.

My wife doesn't enjoy going with me for rides anymore, we are aging and in our 60s. She gets a sore back from it so it's just not her thing anymore. But she knows how much I love to go for a ride and she encourages me to do so. We don't tell each other what we can or can't do, that's why we get along so well.

Bring home some biker tart from one of your rides. You're wife will absolutely start telling you what you can't do! :p:boink:

Love it. I was just telling someone the other day I've never heard anyone say a bad thing about an SV650. Highside/Lowside just did like two hours dedicated to the bike, too. Listened to that on the way to get the 701 last week.

    lack of

i can relate. sold my 690 when we learned we were having a daughter. now with 2 kids and my only riding would be to/from work 3 miles. boring. suppose i could do it instead of dirt bikes on the weekend but street riding really isnt "that fun" in boring ks
mine has a r6 (which i occasionally steal). if we were going to ride she would do it on her own bike.

I'm able to wear a smaller brace while at home. I have also been able to walk around the house with just this brace. I still wear the boot if outside.

Nice! Glad to see your recovery is going well. Do they have you doing physical therapy to maintain range of motion in the ankle?

When I was test riding bikes for a little commuter I ended up with an SV for a bit. It honestly was absolutely no contest compared to the MT07 for me as well and I’ve been a Yamaha guy since before my first bike in my teens. Phenomenal little bike and doesn’t need a thing changed about it in my opinion. I dig the older designs, I’ll be distraught to run out of bikes and trucks to buy someday sooner than later.

I can honestly say that I am just as excited not to ride and stand on my two feet (more like chasing on foot) teaching my child how to ride a little peewee 50 in an open field than I have ever been to go out and ride myself

I truly believe that sharing the passion of riding can be just as rewarding as being out riding yourself, however much like the youth today I am sure a younger me 10+ years ago would have not felt this very same way :blahblah:

    AOMC.MX parts finally shipped :bananadance:

Tail tidy should get here today, too. Chain/sprockets got here two days ago, coolant and brake fluid yesterday. Fingers crossed I get time this weekend to check a bunch of things off the checklist for the bike.

Wife wants to decorate the house for christmas, so we'll see how much free time I actually have :santa:
