Ohh so you can ship to cali. Every y pipe online that had the 2nd set of cats deleted said unable to ship to CA. Same thing even with something like a CAI:facepalm:

Well. It’s for “off-road use only”. I’m not trying to piss off the feds or anything. However you choose to use it is up to you…. :anonymous:

No issues at all. He actually did a recent 1,100 mile road trip. That Y probably has 6k on it now.

The wait is driving me crazy....hahaha. To the guys on the list waiting for the Y..... what exhaust are you going to run behind it ? I really like the sound of the carven but think the bolt on top of the tip looks cheap so, I'm leaning toward the Magnaflow. I like the sound and look of it I just wish it came in 2 1/2" instead of the 3".

Im sorry for the wait guys. I know everyone is excited. Have a couple of things going on in life right now, but that’s going to change nothing. Unfortunately as a one man show I have to be extra cautious to how things are done especially with 3 full builds in the shop! But I really appreciate the patience everyone has shown.

As far as exhaust, just remember. A single can setup like MBRP or Carven is going to be loud (and likely have some rasp). I do think the magnaflow setup is undoubtedly one of the most ideal setups.

But I also want to make it known, with the length of the 3rd gen mid pipe. Adding a resonator IS going to be an option available.

Again, thank you for your patience!

I plan to continue running the OEM cat back. The volume increase with the URD y pipe was already noticeable enough and i feel this one will be no different as far as a volume increase goes, just keeping fingers crossed it sounds better than how the URD pipe made things sound. I already have my Subaru and motorcycle with loud exhaust, don't need my truck which is more of the daily driver to be obnoxiously loud also

Thank you for the update. Sorry for the excitement on my end. LOL. I understand and thank you for the input on the rest of the exhaust. Are you offering a resonator with the Y and midpipe as an option?

Thank you for the input and I may try just running the stock exhaust before ordering the cat back system. This is my daily also.

Correct. A bullet style resonator will be available in the mid! I will likely have 12” and 18” as options. This will really help tame things down for those running more open setups.

I already have the Carven installed, so that's going to be me. At the same time I also have the maggy supercharger.

When I installed the Carven I didn't even bother putting the tip on the exhaust, I actually prefer the naked exhaust pipe.

That is great to hear, no pun intended. I'm not shy to loud exhaust, my Yamaha MT10 with the decat pipe is basically just a straight pipe with minimal silencing but for me taking the secondary cats out of the tacoma made it pretty loud when driving more than like 30% throttle, as i said before I have a feeling your equal length setup with far superior pipe connections will address it and be overall quieter than the URD but I am glad there are other options just in case

Pumped it’s able to be an option for the 3rds! Really wish the 2nd would allow for it in bolt on fashion!

I’ve been debating on talking about this at all. But I’ve always ran business with the idea that transparency is key.

In mid October, I suffered a thoracic spine injury. We are coming out of the woods very well on that end. Thankfully. So work is being completed once again and my schedule is getting more caught up.

More recently however, a very close family member that has been fighting a very rare and terminal cancer took a bad and unexpected turn. This past week has been spent with family, as I feel most would understand. She is still with us, but life is going to get very busy.

I just want everyone to know why the hold up on the 3rd gen, and also let all know that unless I am completely over ran with 2nd gen orders it will be business as usual following stated lead times.

I just finished spraying ceramic on all pending orders that called for it, so those will be shipping soon. I have also been building the Y’s as quickly as possible. But please understand, if my presence lacks in here for a bit here and there it’s because I have a lot of other things going on. In today’s world, I just want to reassure everyone.

Thank you all for supporting a Husband/Wife business, and understanding!

Best wishes to you guys. Had something similar in our family, just be supportive and provide as much help and assistance that you can for those being immediately impacted (yourselves included).

It has definitely been a very rough week on both of us. We are getting away for a couple of days to collect ourselves. Thank you for the wishes. It means a ton to both of us.

I hope to make this a focus in the near future. Unfortunately getting dyno numbers is at the bottom of that list right now.
