I feel like i would do an okay job with this. Also considering that most of this (90%) is going to be covered by cabinets and crown molding I have definitely been reconsidering just doing it. I’ll probably drywall the small uncovered wall in my garage as a first job though. That seems less stressful than doing it for the first time in the kitchen!

    Thanks for noticing.

Curious to hear opinions on best way to trim these windows out. I was thinking black PVC exterior trim cut to fit. Measure and build a frame to size and then put that in place with caulk around the edges. A contractor friend suggested Aztec board instead of the PVC trim. Thoughts? Suggestions? Thanks!

I'd suggest Boral TruExterior Trim. It's a little more spendy than Azek and PVC trim but it's dimensionally stable so you don't get the expansion and contraction that you do with previously mentioned materials. It's made with polymers and coal byproducts.

Perfect, I’ll look into that. Appreciate the suggestion. Sounds like something that would work great.

We built our house in 1998. Being in construction, I had 2 tanks installed and an extra drain/leach field which is why you see 3 exit pipes in the distribution box

Cleaned out the fridge tonight after losing power for about 4 days until I got the generator hooked up. Fridge half was loaded with flying bugs, freezer was pretty good frozen, but I threw everything out due to, the smell. Hosed out the whole thing, plugged it back in, and should know in a couple days if I'll be toting it off to the recycling center or not.

Fan was for fresh air, wore mask and gloves. Hehe.

Not yet. I’ll do that tomorrow. The box was crushed when I dug it up. I had the tanks sucked out today and will install the new box tomorrow

I haven't checked, for the reason below, I don't want to give them any ideas for raising my premiums beyond their current atmospheric levels.
